🇫🇷On April 16, 2021, at the naval base in Toulon, the ceremony of the official transfer of the seventh FREMM-class frigate Alsace (D656) to the French Navy was held. The frigate Alsace is the seventh of eight planned FREMM-class ships. At the same time, the new frigate is the first in the AAW (anti-air warfare) anti-aircraft modification. The first six ships were built in anti-submarine warfare (ASW) modification.
