In early March, an open door was held at the Mecheria airbase in northern Algeria, timed to coincide with the opening of the training unit of the Algerian Air Force.
From the published materials it can be seen that samples of Russian-made weapons were exhibited at the base for display to the leadership of the Air Force: Yak-130, MiG-29 and Mi-28NE attack helicopter were spotted.
