The United States has published a report from the NATO Air Force Joint Center of Excellence, headed by the US Air Force Europe and Africa Commander Jeffrey Lee Harrigian.
It notes that "Pantsir-S" was originally developed for point protection against aircraft and helicopters, as well as for the defense of long-range air defense systems from high-precision weapons strikes, especially from low and ultra-low altitudes.
Due to these characteristics, "Pantsir-S1" is ideal for combating the entire range of small and tactical military drones, and also allows you to close the gap existing in regular air defense units between special systems for countering large-sized UAVs and mini-UAV countermeasures.
Pantsir and similar systems pose a growing threat to NATO and should be neutralized before engaging in combat.
As an example, the authors of the report cite the episode with the destruction of one Syrian air defense missile system "Pantsir" during the operation of the Turkish Armed Forces in Idlib.
This was an operational target that posed a real threat to unmanned aircraft performing air support missions for ground forces and requiring immediate destruction.
To defeat the Pantsir, the Turkish military conducted an intensive operation of electronic suppression, and its destruction became a critical moment for achieving the goals of the entire operation.
As follows from open sources, during the combat use in Syria and Libya, the Pantsir-C1 air defense missile system destroyed more than a hundred drones and various missiles, including the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 UAV, Israeli Heron, at least one American RQ-21A Integrator and two MQ -9A Predator were destroyed by Russian air defense missile systems.

An insanely rare pre-production F4H-1F is up for sale in the US. This McDonnell F4H-1F (BuNo 145310, s / n 150310) is the 11th Phantom built. It was delivered to the United States Navy in 1959. The plane's glider managed to fly only 461 hours.
145310 was the first Phantom to be fitted with bomb-mountable suspensions. On April 22, 1961, it was this aircraft that lifted twenty-two 500-pound Mk.83 bombs into the air and accurately dropped them during a demonstration for the United States Air Force at the Fort Bragg, North Carolina training ground. This was what eventually convinced the Air Force to order this Phantom for its own use. He took part in Operation SAGEBURNER to set a new low-altitude speed record.
The price of a rare Phantom and a set of equipment, including spare engines, is certainly biting at $ 2,950,000. According to the seller, this is the only private Phantom that can fly. This aircraft is the fourth oldest surviving Phantom.

Tensions arisen in Turkish-Iranian relations. Derya Örs, Turkish Ambassador to Tehran was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to convey Iran's protest note. It came after Turkey’s Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu announced that a “group of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) members (which is considered a terrorist organization in Turkey) is in Iran”, ermenihaber reports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran considered Soylu's statement unacceptable and condemned it.
Earlier, Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Farazmand was called in to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs after Iran’s ambassador to Iraq made comments about the attacks of the Turkish army in the Northern Iraq.
