This broadcast consists of a collection of recordings of Ambedkar's voice found on Youtube, arranged in a sequence. The voice in these recordings comes from different times, locations and situations in Ambedkar's life. Each time it is heard, it constructs a new imagination of a listener that exceed those that came before it. In that sense, this voice still resonates in today's social and political reality and continuously revolutionises the idea of collective living and equality.
There must be, and I think there are voices from Ambedkar and Ambedkarites that have not been recorded, or even heard. To whom we listen is an important choice - rather a decision that is facilitated by flows of power within mediatic environments. This presence of Ambedkar's voice also provides that which is not voiced yet, and provokes how to listen to the absence of a voice.
