✅ A long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.

Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.

Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself."

The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health , time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love.

One day when we look back , we will realize that we don't really need that much, but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.

Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition . Life is definitely not about work! Work is only necessary to keep us living so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of life. Life is a balance of Work and Play, Family and Personal time. You have to decide how you want to balance your Life. Define your priorities, realize what you are able to compromise but always let some of your decisions be based on your instincts. Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life, the whole aim of human existence. But happiness has a lot of meaning. Which king of definition would you choose? Which kind of happiness would satisfy your high-flyer soul?


❇️ مقصود زندگی ❇️

✅ سال ها پیش، حاکمی به یکی از سوارکارانش گفت: مقدار سرزمین هایی را که بتواند با اسبش طی کند را به او خواهد بخشید. همان طور که انتظار می رفت، اسب سوار به سرعت برای طی کردن هر چه بیشتر سرزمین ها سوار بر اسبش شد و با سرعت شروع کرد به تاختن. با شلاق زدن به اسبش با آخرین سرعت ممکن می تاخت و می تاخت. حتی وقتی گرسنه و خسته بود، متوقف نمی شد چون می خواست تا جایی که امکان داشت سرزمین های بیشتری را طی کند. وقتی مناطق قابل توجهی را طی کرده بود به نقطه ای رسید . خسته بود و داشت می مرد. از خودش پرسید: چرا خودم را مجبور کردم تا سخت تلاش کنم و این مقدر زمین بدست بیاروم؟ در حالی که در حال مردن هستم و تنها به یک وجب خاک برای دفن کردنم نیاز دارم.

داستان بالا شبیه سفر زندگی خودمان است. برای بدست آوردن ثروت، قدرت و شهرت سخت تلاش می کنیم و از سلامتی و زمانی که باید برای خانواده صرف کرد، غفلت می کنیم تا با زیبایی ها و سرگرمی های اطرافمان که دوست داریم مشغول باشیم.

وقتی به گذشته نگاه می کنیم. متوجه خواهیم شد که هیچگاه به این مقدار احتیاج نداشتیم اما نمی توان آب رفته را به جوی بازگرداند.

زندگی تنها پول در آوردن و قدرتمند شدن و بدست آوردن شهرت نیست. زندگی قطعا فقط کار نیست ، بلکه کار تنها برای امرار معاش است تا بتوان از زیبایی ها و لذت های زندگی بهره مند شد و استفاده کرد. زندگی تعادلی است بین کار و تفریح، خانواده و اوقات شخصی. بایستی تصمیم بگیری که چه طور زندگیت را متعادل کنی. اولویت هایت را تعریف کن و بدان که چه طور می توانی با دیگران به توافق برسی اما همیشه اجازه بده که بعضی از تصمیماتت بر اساس غریزه درونیت باشد. شادی معنا و هدف زندگی است. هدف اصلی وجود انسان. اما شادی معناهای متعددی دارد. چه نوع شادی را شما انتخاب می کنید؟ چه نوع شادی روح بلند پروازتان را ارضا خواهد کرد؟

Speedy hare
خرگوش چابک

✳️ A speedy hare lived in the woods. She was always bragging to the other animals about how fast she could run.

خرگوشی چابک در جنگل زندگی می‌کرد. او همیشه درباره سرعت دویدنش برای حیوانات دیگر لاف می‌زد.

The animals grew tired of listening to the hare. So one day, the tortoise walked slowly up to her and challenged her to a race. The hare howled with laughter

حیوانات از گوش دادن به حرف‌های خرگوش خسته شده بودند. به همین خاطر روزی از روزها لاک‌پشت آرام‌آرام پیش او رفت و او را به مسابقه دعوت کرد. خرگوش با خنده‌ای فریاد زد.

“Race you? I can run circles around you!” the hare said. But the tortoise didn’t budge. “OK, Tortoise. You want a race? You’ve got it! This will be a piece of cake.” The animals gathered to watch the big race.

خرگوش گفت: «با تو مسابقه بدم؟ من تو رو به‌راحتی می‌برم!» اما نظر لاک‌پشت عوض نشد. «باشه لاک‌پشته. پس تو می خوای مسابقه بدی؟ باشه قبوله. این واسه من مثه آب خوردنه.» حیوانات برای تماشای مسابقه بزرگ جمع شدند.

A whistle blew, and they were off. The hare sprinted down the road while the tortoise crawled away from the starting line.


سوتی زدند و آن‌ها مسابقه را شروع کردند. خرگوش مسیر را با حداکثر سرعت می‌دوید درحالی‌که لاک‌پشت به‌کندی از خط شروع مسابقه دور می‌شد.

The hare ran for a while and looked back. She could barely see the tortoise on the path behind her. Certain she’d win the race, the hare decided to rest under a shady tree.

خرگوش مدتی دوید و به عقب نگاه کرد. او دیگر نمی‌توانست لاک‌پشت را پشت سرش در مسیر ببیند. خرگوش که از برنده شدن خود مطمئن بود تصمیم گرفت در سایه‌ی یک درخت کمی استراحت کند.

The tortoise came plodding down the road at his usual slow pace. He saw the hare, who had fallen asleep against a tree trunk. The tortoise crawled right on by.

لاک‌پشت با سرعت همیشگی‌اش آهسته‌آهسته از راه رسید. او خرگوش را دید که کنار تنه‌ی درختی به خواب رفته است. لاک‌پشت درست از کنارش رد شد.

The hare woke up and stretched her legs. She looked down the path and saw no sign of the tortoise. “I might as well go win this race,” she thought.

خرگوش از خواب بیدار شد و پاهایش را کش‌وقوسی داد. مسیر را نگاه کرد و اثری از لاک‌پشت ندید. با خودش فکر کرد «من باید برم و این مسابقه رو هم برنده بشم.»

As the hare rounded the last curve, she was shocked by what she saw. The tortoise was crossing the finish line! The tortoise had won the race!

وقتی خرگوش آخرین پیچ را رد کرد، ازآنچه می‌دید تعجب کرد. لاک‌پشت داشت از خط پایان رد می‌شد! لاک‌پشت مسابقه را برد!

The confused hare crossed the finish line. “Wow, Tortoise,” the hare said, “I really thought there was no way you could beat me.” The tortoise smiled. “I know. That’s why I won.”

خرگوش سردرگم از خط پایان رد شد. خرگوش گفت: «وای لاک‌پشته، من واقعاً فکر نمی‌کردم تو بتونی منو ببری.» لاک‌پشت لبخندی زد و گفت: «می دونم. واسه همین بود که من برنده شدم.»
