➡️Oct 4 — Bangladesh National Security Adviser Khalilur Rahman met US Trade Rep Brendan Lynch in Washington on Oct 3, urging further tariff reductions as trade gaps narrow. Lynch said the request will be considered as agreements are implemented. Earlier tariffs cut from 37% to 20% eased pressure on Bangladesh’s garment sector.
