🇮🇳🇧🇩🇲🇲Assam: Nine Rohingyas, including five children, detained in Cachar

👮‍♀️In a massive crackdown against illegal immigrants, Cachar police have detained nine Myanmar nationals of the Rohingya community, including two women and five children, in Cachar district of Assam.

According to reports, they were caught by locals near the India-Bangladesh international border on Tuesday night and later handed over to the police.

They came to Badarpur Railway Station from Delhi a day earlier and then moved to the Katigorah area to cross the border when the locals caught them,” a police official said.

The detained Rohingya migrants said they had fled Myanmar a few years ago and initially took shelter in a camp in Bangladesh. Later, they entered India through Tripura and went to Jammu and Kashmir for work.

🗣️Today, the pakistani forces tried to open the supply routes by imposing curfew, which the TTP attacked with light and heavy weapons, including snipers. Unconfirmed reports are saying that about 15 Pakistani personnel of the forces were killed in the clash while some vehicles of the convoy were also affected.
