Murali Nayak, an Indian Army Jawan from Andhra Pradesh, was martyred along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir during the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan.

Nayak hailed from Kallithanda village under the Gaddam Thanda panchayat in the Sri Sathyasai district of Andhra Pradesh. The news of martyrdom was shared by Andra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu and Governor S Abdul Nazeer.
