🇮🇳Indian army launches Exercise Samanvay Shakti 2025 to boost civil-military cooperation

❗️The Indian Army, in collaboration with state officials from Assam and Manipur, has launched Exercise Samanvay Shakti 2025 to improve coordination and cooperation between military, government departments, and civil institutions.The exercise was inaugurated on Wednesday at Laipuli in Assam's Tinsukia district to tackle regional challenges through a unified approach, focusing on strengthening security and development efforts by fostering synergy among various agencies.

🇮🇳🇧🇩Meghalaya to pursue with Centre for Territorial Army to enhance border security

The state government has decided to proactively pursue with the Centre for the establishment of a Territorial Army for enhancing the border security in the state.

🗣️Announcing this on Wednesday, cabinet minister and MDA government spokesperson Paul Lyngdoh said, “We will proactively and positively pursue the matter and since this also concerns the union government, all details relating to the territorial army will be shared with members of the cabinet.”

Gen Dwivedi called it “a service to humanity & extension of sacrifice.” Armed Forces Organ Retrieval & Transplantation Authority (AORTA) has already seen 26,000+ soldiers pledge, reflecting the Army’s ethos of selfless service beyond life.
