According to sources, the move has been taken to curb the activities of freedom-loving elements, however, experts say that the decision is an indication that the security situation in the province is no longer under the government's control.

CIK busts major terror financing network in Delhi

Srinagar, Aug 6: In a major breakthrough and high-stakes operation, Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) struck a blow at the financial base of terrorism. Rapid and surgical raids were carried out at a business unit located at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. The raid was aimed at busting a sophisticated cross-border terror financing syndicate.

➡️🇵🇰The case unravels a sinister conspiracy hatched by the handlers and commanders of banned terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) across the Line of Control. These people in connivance with Pakistani nationals settled in Gulf countries and other foreign territories, are funneling terror money into the heart of Kashmir through a network of couriers disguised as pilgrims, traders and expatriates, the statement said.
