The Parliament on Tuesday approved a statutory resolution to extend President's Rule in Manipur by six months beyond August 13. Lok Sabha had approved the resolution last week while Rajya Sabha approved it today with a voice vote. "Consumer spending has flatlined, construction and manufacturing are contracting and employment is set to fall," Zandi said.
