Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited is set to deliver 6.01 lakh Amethi-made AK-203 rifles nearly 22 months ahead of schedule. The rifles, also known as 'Sher' in India, fire up to 700 rounds/ minute and have a range of 800 metres. AK-203, a modernised version of Kalashnikov series, will become the primary assault rifle for soldiers at northern and western borders.

👮J&K | CIK raids underway at 10 locations in Valley in terror recruitment case
Srinagar: The Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) unit of Jammu and Kashmir Police is conducting searches at ten locations across four districts in the Valley.
An official told that the raids are part of an ongoing investigation into a terror-crime case linked to a terrorist sleeper cell and recruitment module handled by Jaish commander Abdullah Ghazi from across the border.
The searches are underway at one location in Pulwama, six in Ganderbal, one in Srinagar, and two in Budgam distrit.
