๐Ÿ”ด๐Ÿ“‹: Unlawful NSCN-K Naga Army Statement

The relationship between the NSCN-K and ULFA-I began in the early 80s within the United Base Area in Naga-inhabited regions of Myanmar. Both NSCN-K and ULFA-I were founding members of the now defunct Indo-Burma Revolutionary Front (IBRF), and later, key founding members of the United National Liberation Front of WESEA (UNLFW). This larger revolutionary alliance formed under the visionary leadership of the late NSCN Chairman, Baba Khaplang, was established in collaboration with other Fraternal Revolutionary Organizations from the WESEA (Western South East Asia) region, united by a shared aspiration i.e. the attainment of sovereignty.

The bond between the Nagas and Assamese people is a deep-rooted relationship, nurtured over the course of a thousand years. The solidarity fostered by late Baba Khaplang and the leadership of ULFA-I is one that is expected to endure for generations to come.

Photographs:

The accompanying photographs feature the late NSCN Chairman Baba S.S. Khaplang, Gen. Paresh Baruah Commander-in-Chief, ULFA-I, and Maj. Gen. Ang Mai of the Naga Army. The final photograph was taken in 2017 at Taka.

๐Ÿ”ด๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธNIA arrests 2 more in ULFA(I) blast conspiracy

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two more individuals in connection with the recovery of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted by the ULFA(I) terror group near Dispur Last Gate, Guwahati. The planting of the IED was part of a larger conspiracy to carry out multiple blasts across Assam on Independence Day in 2024.

The accused, Bhargob Gogoi and Sumu Gogoi, residents of Dibrugarh district in Assam, were directly involved in the conspiracy orchestrated by the proscribed terrorist organisation with the intent to spread terror and undermine the sovereignty, security, and integrity of the nation.

With these arrests, the total number of individuals taken into custody in the case (RC-03/2024/NIA-GUW) has risen to three.

๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ซBBC: Personal details of๐Ÿ”ด UK special forces and spies were included in Afghan data breach

It was already a huge scandal earlier this week, when the country learned that the details of thousands of Afghans at risk from the Taliban had been accidentally leaked by someone in UK Special Forces headquarters, and a secret scheme had been set up to bring them to the UK.

Today we can report that the data breach was much worse than previously thought: it contained personal details of more than 100 British officials including those whose identities are most closely guarded โ€“ special forces and spies

The security breach was kept under wraps by an injunction until today, when the gagging order was lifted in part by a High Court judge.

Details of more than 100 British officials were included in the leaked data, which may have fallen into the hands of the Taliban
