Nayan Asom, Hon'ble President of the Lower Council of the United Liberation Front of Assam (Independent). The Veronia forces killed Brigadier Ganesh Asom and Colonel Pradeep Asom, and injured several other officers, members, and civilians in this brutal and inhuman attack. The occupying forces continue to conduct air raids in certain areas. I want to inform the indigenous people of Assam that we are determined to take revenge for this barbaric attack by the colonial state," the second press release said.

📋On the 13th of July,2025 the Indian army/security forces launched attacks on ULFA-I Command and Control Headquarters situated in Hoyat village in Eastern Konyak Area, Myanmar. The aerial attacks lasted from 1:00 am to 9 am( Myanmar standard time). The attackers use UAVs and drones to fire multiple missiles from Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh of India. In the attack, Lt.Gen.Nayan Asom/Nayan Medhi, Brig.Lahon/Ganesh Asom ,Col.Pradip Asom and two other cadres were killed on the spot.These martyred ULFA-I officers and cadres are good friends of the Naga Army.

On the 13th of July,2025 the Indian army/Security forces launched numerous UAVs and other drones to attack multiple targets in United Base Area in Naga Land, Myanmar, stretching from Longwa areas to Pangsau Pass/Stillwell Road.
