Quetta: On the rally of the police coming from Sirab Road towards hockey ground. A bomb has exploded.
This rally was taken out in support of the Pak Army and the ruling government was on its way to the hockey ground to participate in the procession of Balochistan.
The blast took place when the rally convoy reached the central road near Sirab. Security forces have cordoned off the area and started a search operation, while the injured are being shifted to nearby hospitals.
So far no organization has accepted responsibility for the attack. Officials say investigations are ongoing and the security alert has been further increased.
