🔹 32 years of backtested data, run in two places (TradingView and a Jupyter notebook on Yahoo Finance data) so the numbers could be compared
🔹 How we optimised it on the first 22 years, then tested those parameters on 10 years the optimisation never saw

Our first-time guest speaker Joe Ee taught us IBOT, the 4-step pipeline behind everything we share 👇

1️⃣ Ideation — Use AI to turn a vague strategy into exact rules: entry, exit, indicator settings, risk rules. No more "buy when RSI is oversold" with no exit plan.

2️⃣ Backtest — Ask AI to write a TradingView Pine Script, paste it in, and read the strategy tester. No coding needed.

3️⃣ Optimise — Look for robust parameters, not perfect ones.

4️⃣ Trade — Automate it with TradingView alerts, or full webhook automation on a paid account.

⚠️ Her biggest warning — overfitting

RSI 30 gave 48%. Move it to 29 and it drops to 1%. To 28, –2%. That strategy only works at one exact number.

Her robust version did 18–21% across the whole range. Aim for the range, not the peak.

📊 The 4 numbers to check before using real money

✅ Profit factor (above 1)
✅ Max drawdown (must match your risk appetite)
✅ Sample size (at least 30 trades)
✅ Expectancy (dollar value per trade)
