In the morning at 9:19 AM and 10:32 AM, pending SL orders were cancelled by the broker via exchange. No notifications were received from the broker at 9:19. Also upon auto cancellation of pending orders, no error message or any other message has come via their API as well, hence no error message would show up on your algo dashboards.

Please check your algos and terminals for any cancelled SL orders and place them manually.

This is a connectivity issue between the broker and the exchange. Open positions cannot be squared off and new positions will not go through till the connectivity is restored.

We have raised the issue with the broker

Tomorrow, 21st July onwards BANKNIFTY lot size is changing from 25 to 15.

This change will reflect on your algo settings page only post 8:30 AM on 21st July, tomorrow

Currently if you are trading with 1 lot you are trading 25 quantity, 21st July onwards you can change the no. of lots to 2 lots, so as to trade 30 quantity. Similarly, if you were trading 2 lots you are trading with 50 quantity, 21st July onwards you can change the no. of lots to 3 lots so as to trade 45 quantity OR change the no. of lots to 4 lots so as to trade 60 quantity, and so on.

You can make the no. of lots changes (as per new lot size of 15) for each leg in algos running Banknifty today itself, the lot size (and total quantity) change will show on the algo dashboards tomorrow after 8:30 AM only.

Also note, only the lot size is changing from 25 to 15, the Freeze Limit is not changing, it remain 900 quantity. Which means that the maximum number of lots that can be fired per order will become 60 lots, as opposed to the current 36 lots. Note: If you set the no. of lots (quantity setting) in the algo above 60, the orders will get rejected.
⚠️ ❗️ANGEL USERS ❗️⚠️

There is an issue with order updates and order tags. Entry orders will get placed but SL orders will not get placed, exits will not happen.
Do not run new algos or take new positions via algos in your Angel accounts. Square off positions or manage positions manually.

We've raised the issue with Angel

The order updates/order tags issue is coming for random orders for random users. So some orders will go through and SL orders will get placed and some orders may go into WAITING status.

It would be safer to not trade today, till this issue is resolved. As soon as Angel confirms that the issue is resolved, we will make an announcement. If you do decide to continue trading, check for WAITING status and monitor.

IIFL users check for the error ECONNREFUSED 124.153.80.84:4005

If you're getting this error, then re do broker login. This error will come only for some users that are assigned port no. 4005, which is having an issue.

Once broker login is done again, a different port will automatically be assigned
