Gold is at $4,451 today, well off January's $5,595 all time high. The correction has been ongoing and the dust hasn't settled yet.
Fundamentals are split. Central banks, China for fifteen straight months are still buying. But zero rate cuts priced in for 2026 and real yields above 1.87% make the environment tough for gold.
Technically, last week's selloff was gold's worst in over 40 years. $4,100 is key support bulls need $4,500 back to feel confident.
On risk, size down, hold your stops, don't chase. The long term story is intact, but right now patience is the trade.
