Hey everyone, (a reminder that) we're looking for graphic/web designers for The Rainbow Connection, QueerNUS's first ever, fully online zine! If you have experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or similar digital applications with text and graphic layout functions, we'd love to work with you! Applicants with experience in running Wix and/or WordPress sites are also welcome. Do reach out to us at our email therainbowconnection.zine@gmail.com with more details of what platforms you are able to use and, if possible, a portfolio showcasing your skill (can be 3-5 pieces of your previous work, just a link to your website, or 3-5 screenshots). We will be accepting applicants up til 15 July.

In the meantime, we thank all those who have submitted pieces for the zine. We are in the process of reviewing them and will get back to you soon!
Hi everyone! As previously mentioned in our call for survey respondents, IULN is looking to update our resource booklet for trans tertiary students, Trans* in College. I'm Kathlyn, the project lead for the NUS sections, and we've noticed that the information for Rooms/Bathrooms/Unisex toilets has gone out of date. (this can be found on pages 28-29 here: https://issuu.com/interunilgbtnetworksg/docs/trans__in_college)

However, we don't have enough access nor manpower to check all halls/RCs/residences! As a result, we're looking for NUS students who have/had stayed on campus recently (2020-present) to help with data collection for this specific section. Do peruse the booklet and DM me (@kitkatpheyy) if you spot any changes to room and toilet accessibility! Any help is well-appreciated ୧( ○ ╹ _╹ ○ )୨✲!

It can be hard to find queer community, especially in a college as big as NUS. Sometimes, we just need a queer pal or two around to shoot a text and have our back. If you aren't too big on talking in group settings, are a responsible person in this pandemic, or want to feel like you're Anne Lister writing letters to new friends (in 2021, not the 1800s), GC penpals is just for you. Sign up and we'll link you up with a penpal to share everyday musings, interests, and good conversation with over email to brighten up your semester (and hopefully your friend circle)!
