We are looking for a Partner Manager for our HTML5 platform for Comcast X1 to help our streaming app partners integrate their entertainment apps with X1.
The way we all watch television is changing and Comcast is leading the pay TV industry in the converges of traditional TV and over-the-top streaming content. This is a billion-dollar opportunity and the OTT app team is a key part of making it happen.
A Partner Manager, your primary responsibility is to make it easy for developers to integrate their OTT apps with the X1 HTML Platform. You are part of our Partner Management team working closely with the Partner Engineering team and staying aligned with the product owner of each app category you will play a crucial role of helping developers integrate their apps on X1 and representing the voice of external developers internally and bringing their feedback into our current and upcoming product offerings.
We’re aggressively growing number of app integrations on X1 to expand the content and apps available to our customers. You will manage relationships with the developer teams of App Partners and potential App Partners to help inspire and motivate them to develop innovative integrations of existing apps and in some cases new products that fully leverage key X1 technologies to deliver best-in-class discovery, entertainment and retention for our customers.
You will work closely with the rest of the OTT App Product team and be the main integration contact person between each partner’s app developers and the Partner Engineering team and other Comcast teams involved in app integration.
You will need to have a deep understanding of the media landscape, OTT trends and platforms, and evolving business models. You will also need a keen sense of product awareness to articulate platform value and represent product requirements. Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to dive deeply into both business and technical issues will be critical to success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, as well as a strong analytical bent and the ability to navigate and embrace complexity. While managing the day-to-day partner relationships, the candidate will need to be able to see the big picture while remaining detail oriented. S/he will demonstrate a mastery of verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, drive presentations, represent Comcast to all levels of partner organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop highly effective, deep relationships with key partners. Provide day-to-day management of partner relationships with a focus on growth activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Member of Technical Staff (MTS1) native Quality Engineer, you will design, develop, drive and deliver high-level test strategies, methodologies and take a hands-on approach to see that they are implemented timely and efficiently. You will partner with other departments on technical matters and working closely with cross functional teams.
· Testing mobile Client native apps for different mobile products on smart phones - iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets.
· Testing the mobile apps using simulators (iOS, Android and Mobile Web clients)
· Creating and implementing test plans and test cases
· Creating automation tests with XCTest, Espresso and other industry standard frameworks
· Participating in release planning, go/no-go meeting & coordinating release processes
· Working closely with the product and development teams (both remote and local) to understand product requirements, architecture and technologies
· Write clear, actionable bug reports
· Reporting progress, risks and test coverage effectively
· Configuring defect and test management tools
· Managing QA devices and environments
· Mentoring team members
· Providing technical guidance to the team
Minimum Qualifications:
· Web services testing for REST API, Queues and Automation (Jenkins preferred) using standard frameworks
· Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Swift, Java, Kotlin
· Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools
· Knowledge of various software testing methods(Regression, Load/Stress, Code Coverage Analysis, Black/White box testing, Acceptance, Performance)
· Prior QA automation testing, quality assurance methodologies and processes experience.
· Test web and mobile applications
