"From the Garret to the Emir"

A story about dreams that come true through perseverance and love for one's craft.

Delving into the history of Uzbek gold embroidery, we discovered an amazing detail: the most magnificent, regal ornaments were created in small workshops, where artisans worked by the dim light of a lamp, surrounded by bolts of fabric and threads.

Their journey was always accompanied by patience and belief in their craft. Over time, their art went beyond the small workshops and gained recognition.

This journey is very close to our brand, as Qand also started in a small space, where each flavor was crafted with care, through a process of trial and error.

Our journey took years - from the idea to the realization of a big dream.

This is how the collection "From the Workshop to the Emir" was born - a creative metaphor for the path of any craft: from the first steps to the moment when labor becomes art.

The main character here is master Numon, who began his journey at the market stalls and, through his hard work, achieved a level where the Emir’s court walks through his creations.

Ilhom izlab, Binafsha Nodir’ga murojaat qildik, u bizga so‘zana matosining aql bovar qilmaydigan go‘zalligini ko‘rsatdi. Gul bezaklari orasida biz kolleksiyamizning asosiy obraziga aylangan g‘ayrioddiy otni ko‘rdik.

Biz bu tasvirni qayta ko‘rib chiqib, bir nechta o‘zgarishlarni qo'shtik va ularni qutining markaziy chizig‘iga joylashtirdik - go‘yo ot oldinga intilayotgandek. Fon sifatida asl Nurota so‘zanasining burgundi rangidagi parchalaridan foydalandik.

Nurata Spirit Collection — a tribute to the art of suzani ✨

In search of inspiration, we turned to Binafsha Nodir, who introduced us to a suzani textile of extraordinary beauty. Among the floral ornaments, we noticed an unusual horse motif that became the key image of our collection.

We reinterpreted this symbol, creating several variations and placing them along the central line of the box — as if the horse is moving forward. As a background, we used fragments of the original Nurata suzani set against a rich burgundy tone

В поисках вдохновения мы обратились к Бинафше Нодыр, которая показала нам невероятной красоты полотно сюзане. Среди цветочных орнаментов мы разглядели необычную лошадку, которая стала ключевым образом в нашей коллекции.

Мы переосмыслили этот образ, создав несколько вариаций и разместив их по центральной линии коробки — будто лошадь устремляется вперёд. В качестве фона мы использовали фрагменты оригинального Нуратинского сюзане на благородном оттенке бургунди.

Dates. Yaratilish tarixi 📖

2018-yilda Toshkentda shokoladga botirilgan xurmo mashhurlik qozona boshladi. Bu QAND brendini o‘z mahsulotini yaratishga ilhomlantirdi—fqatgina trendga ergashish emas, balki ta’m uyg‘unligini yangi darajaga ko‘tarish edi. Shu tariqa Dates g‘oyasi tug‘ildi.

Mukammal lazzat uyg‘unligini yaratish uchun turli xurmo navlarini sinovdan o‘tkazdik. Biz shokoladning chuqur ta’mini yanada ochib beruvchi va yangi ta’m palitrasini yaratadigan ideal navni topishimiz kerak edi. Ko‘plab tajribalardan so‘ng, tabiiy va haddan tashqari shirin bo‘lmagan Ajwa xurmosini tanladik.

Dates: The Story Behind

In 2018, chocolate-covered dates started gaining popularity in Tashkent. This inspired QAND to create its own product—not just following the trend but elevating the art of flavor pairing. This is how the idea of Dates was born.

To achieve the perfect harmony of taste, we tested various types of dates. We needed to find the one that would enhance the depth of chocolate while revealing a new flavor dimension. After numerous experiments, we chose Ajwa dates, known for their natural, subtly sweet taste.

Dates is our seasonal product, available in our boutique only during the holy month of Ramadan.
