I tried to become a photographer, but there’re things that I am not good at ;)
But maybe you like some of them and need such photos for social media or something else :)

Hi all,

The next QA Breakfast is happening on Wednesday, May 20th at 9:30 AM.

🎯 Topic: “From Good Code” to Production Reality”

In April’s QA Breakfast, we discussed the hidden layer of the system - the Linux kernel, its specifics, limitations, and non-obvious behavior.
This time, we’ll continue the topic from the application side.
Even well-designed code can behave very differently in production. A service may look healthy in tests, but after deployment start showing strange latency spikes, CPU anomalies, or sudden slowdowns although “nothing changed”.

At this breakfast, Kirill Yurkov, a Customer Reliability Technician Lead at VictoriaMetrics, will walk through the path from application design to production symptoms and show how to recognize these issues earlier.

What you’ll learn:
- why well-written code can still degrade badly in production;
- how runtime, container, and OS-level effects show up at the application level;
- what signals to watch before users notice the problem, and how a practical dashboard can help with investigation.
Krill also demonstrate a dashboard that can help investigate and mitigate such issues earlier.

Also in agenda:
Hot meal to start off your morning
✌️ Open discussion on presented topic and other topics
👥 Friendly networking

📍 Venue: Edificio Alameda (https://share.google/UqOdNd4H5NjUo8arD), Floor 6. Please inform reception that you are visiting RingCentral.
🕤 Time: 9:30 AM

Hi everyone,

There are 2 breakfasts left in this season of QA Breakfast.

I’d like to give us a chance to truly get to know each other, since we all have quite different experiences and areas of expertise. So, I’d like to suggest spending our next event in the café (June 3) introducing ourselves and asking each other questions about our experience in different areas.

I’ll moderate the meeting :)

Please share if this sounds interesting to you and whether you’re planning to participate.
