Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram announces for the first time, a hundred hour certificate course in Yogasūtra and select commentaries.This 100 plus hours course offers participants an opportunity to study each Sutra at depth, also weaving together essential teachings from Vyāsabhāṣyam, along with several other sub commentaries and independent commentaries including Śrī Krishnamacharya's Yogavallī and the interpretations of Śrī TKV Desikachar.
The course will be offered in four modules with the schedule broken up as given below.
Chapter – I | December 17, 19, 24, 26, 31, 2024, Jan 2, 7, 8, 9, 21, 23, 28, 30, Feb 4, 6, 11, 13, 18 & 20, 2025
Chapter – II | March 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27, April 8, 10, 15, 17, May 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29 & June 3, 2025
Chapter – III | June 17, 19, 24, 26, July 1, 3, 8, 9, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31, August 5, 7, 12, 14, & 19, 2025
Chapter – IV | August 26, 28, September 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 26 & 30, 2025
The programme fee per chapter is Rs. 7,000 per participant. If you wish to register for all the four chapters, it would be Rs.25,000 per participant (and not Rs. 28,000).
The course will be taught by Nrithya Jagannathan, Director, KYM Institute of Yoga Studies. Widely recognised as an expert in the domain of Yogasūtra studies, Nrithya has studied the Yogasūtra under Śrī TKV Desikachar and other senior mentors of the KYM multiple times over the last 23 years. She will anchor this course and also conduct the assessments at the end of each module.
This course would equip teachers of Yoga with the necessary knowledge to thoroughly understand and also teach the Yogasūtra to others.
At the end of each module, participants will be given a short break during which they would be required to take up and online assessment and submit an essay on the chapter completed. Successful completion of all assessments would be required for final certification.
Video recordings will be made available for a limited period to all registered participants, the schedule of which will be shared.

When are you gonna make your cherished dream come true, I wonder, and get a really smooth command of English in the long run? Just that kind of spoken English you've been really after for a long while now - correct and fluent English to be never ashamed of. D'ya know the right answer why you ain't gained it yet?
I'm asking you all to believe me I might've failed dropping this message, had I known it all along that you weren't seeking perfect English, but you were, weren't you? And you still are, aren't you?
Your mere craving for mastering excellent English, however, is not enough because there are at least two more vital conditions that you still badly lack as it seems. Diligence to learn much and hard is undoubtedly the first one and using your brains is definitely the second. The latter refers to your ability to precisely choose the appropriate tutorial materials that are number one key to your success. So if you're able to catch the course of my ideas, I bet, you understand what I actually mean.
