Forwarded from Heathens Begone (Pérez)
From the Holy Gospel according to Luke
Luke 12:2-8
Homily by St. John Chrysostom, (Patriarch of Constantinople)
On Matthew x. 26.)
The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Fear them not, therefore: for] there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. It is as though He would say: It is comfort enough for you, if I, your Master and Lord, am a partaker in your reproach. But if it grieve you unto this present to hear these things, bethink you likewise that it is but a little while, and ye shall be free from that reproach. For what is it that grieveth you? is it that they call you tricksters and deceivers? Wait but a little while and all men shall call you the preservers and benefactors of the world. In a little while all the things which are dark now shall be made clear, and the falsehood of them that reproach you and your own goodness shall be shown in the light. For when that which cometh to pass shall itself show that ye are preservers and benefactors, and filled with all goodness, men will regard not the words of your gainsayers but the truth. They that now speak evil of you will be found out in the slanderers, liars, and calumniators, and ye shall be seen to be brighter than the sun; time shall make you known and shall preach you with a voice louder than the voice of a trumpet, and shall bring forward all men as the witnesses of your goodness. Let not, therefore, those things which are now spoken cast you down, but rather let the hope of the good things which are to come lift you up. For the things which regard you cannot be hidden.
And when He had freed them from pain, fear, and care, and set them above the reproaches of men, He spake unto them in due season concerning the freedom of preaching, What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the house-tops. It was not darkness when He uttered these words, neither was He speaking into their ear. These words were a figure He was speaking to them alone and in a little corner of Palestine, and therefore He saith in darkness and in the ear, as comparing this manner of speech with that boldness of speaking wherewith He was afterwards to inspire them. Preach, He saith, not in one nor two nor three cities, but throughout the whole world go over the earth and the sea, the land that is dwelt in and the land that is not dwelt in speak all things with great boldness to kings and to peoples, to philosophers and to rhetoricians therefore without any subtlety, but with all freedom, He saith, What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the house-tops.
Luke 12:2-8
In the meantime, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, in so much that they trod one upon another, Jesus began to say unto His disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy, for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. And so on.

Today the world does not turn from God because it is idolatrous; rather it pursues pure atheism, so as to put science on the altar. But science does not create; it only discovers that which God has made.
For, as death came upon the human race by the disobedience of man, it was fitting that by man's obedience life should be restored. And, as sin, the cause of our condemnation, had its origin from a woman, so ought the author of our righteousness and salvation to be born of a woman. And so also was it proper that the devil, who, being man's tempter, had conquered him in eating of the tree, should be vanquished by man in the suffering of the tree which man bore.

Supreme Leader and Voivode,
Archangel of the Supreme Forces,
And the human race
Warm defender Michael,
Guardian of the covenant of God,
And for the warring spirits
Thunderstorm and fiery Warrior,
And the prince of all Angelic ranks!
Drifting in delusion of the heart
By the movement of your own passions
I've often been a victim of corruption
In the prime of the first youthful days.
You see, Angel, the evil enemy
I was crushed on the way of everyday life.
And I am the lamp of eternal glory
Lost in sinful darkness ...
“You see the miserable waste
Priceless of all my gifts.
Given to me by the Spirit of grace,
And scold my enemies with me.
I pray to you in contrition
The Fleshless Forces Archangel:
You keep me from falling
Everywhere, in all my ways.
When is the call from a perishable life
I will hear, and the hour will strike, -
To my soul, corrupted by sin,
May help pass from you
Oh, let me ripen my desired paradise!
Be yourself my counselor,
And the light of glory trisy
Honor me, my Angel! .. "

John 15:17-25 (DRA)
¹⁷These things I command you, that you love one another.
¹⁸If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you.
¹⁹If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
²⁰Remember my word that I said to you: The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also.
²¹But all these things they will do to you for my name's sake: because they know not him who sent me.
²²If I had not come, and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
²³He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.
²⁴If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.
¹⁷These things I command you, that you love one another.

²⁵But that the word may be fulfilled which is written in their law: They hated me without cause.

20 Immediate Actions to End the #Protestantization of the Catholic Church
⚜️
We often hear #today of very concerning actions taking place in the Church - even in Rome itself. And while it is important that we study these materials in detail since heresy is often a drop of poison in a good cup of wine - rather than all rotten truths - we need to raise our mind to more of a 30,000-foot overview at times. In failing to do so, we get so involved in the details that we forget what we really need to do to help save the Catholic Faith from the rapid protestantization occurring among the faithful today.
⚜️
Let's focus on the Top 20 Actions Holy Mother Church needs to make. Let us pray and work for these to occur.
⚜️
1. The Restoration of the Traditional Latin #Mass - the Mass of All Times - in all Latin Rite parishes and the abolition of the 1969 Rite of Mass.
⚜️
2. The immediate end of Communion in the hand
⚜️
3. The elimination of lay extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion (often erroneous called "Eucharistic ministers")
⚜️
4. The restoration of altar rails and Holy Communion received kneeling.
⚜️
5. An immediate reduction in annulments which have become a "get out of marriage free" card.
⚜️
6. Require all Fridays to be meatless rather than offer the option to substitute a penance for Fridays outside of Lent since no one even knows or observes this
⚜️
7. Restore all of Lent as 40 days of fast and abstinence
⚜️
8. Immediately cease false #ecumenism and resume true missionary work, since we hold that outside of the Catholic Church there is no salvation. Ecumenism downplays Christ.
⚜️
9. Prohibit #cremation for Catholics
⚜️
10. Eradicate the false concepts of human #freedoms which have worked their way in the Church
⚜️
11. Publicly condemn the #masons as the #Popes had previously done for centuries
⚜️
12. Suppress the Neocatechumenal Way
⚜️
13. Restore proper understanding of #liberty of conscience as a grave evil
⚜️
14. Clarify that Catholics who divorce and re-marry are in the state of sin and may not receive Holy Communion since they are not in God's grace
⚜️
15. Condemn Medjugorje, since the alleged apparitions teach novelties in direct contradiction to the dogmatic teachings of the Catholic Faith
16. Remove the so-called Luminous Mysteries since it is not possible to add to the Rosary as revealed by Our Lady
17. Encourage more frequent #Confession and preach on the necessity of being in grace for salvation
18. Restore the Church to the glory she had before the revolution that occurred at Vatican II.
19. Instill in the Faithful the necessity to resist the insatiable desire for earthly goods and riches
20. Undo the separation of Church and State
As a final suggestion, please re-read Traditionalism Vs. Modernism by Fr. Peter Carota. Let us pray and actively work to achieving all of these. Lord have mercy!

20 Immediate Actions to End the Protestantization of the Catholic Church
Traditional Roman Catholicism, Catholic Devotions and Spirituality, Authentic Catholic Theology, and spiritually enriching reflections.
Peter Miles, raised from the dead by St. Stanislaus of Krakow, Poland, preferred to return to Purgatory rather than to live again upon earth. The celebrated miracle of this resurrection happened in 1070 and is related in the Acta Sanctorum on May 7.
After that, accompanied by the Bishop and a vast multitude, Peter returned to his grave, laid himself down, his body fell to pieces, and his bones resumed the same state in which they had first been found.
We have reason to believe that the #Saint soon obtained the deliverance of his soul from the sufferings of #Purgatory.
The reason which he gives for this preference is that in this mortal life we are exposed to the danger of being lost and incurring eternal damnation.
