$760M Bet Against Oil Before Strait Announcement

Unknown parties placed a $760 million short bet on oil 20 minutes before the announcement that the Strait of Hormuz was open. This follows a pattern of insider trades linked to key geopolitical events involving Trump and Iran.

On March 23, there was a $500 million short position taken just 15 minutes before Trump postponed strikes on Iran, after which oil prices dropped by 15%. On April 7, a $950 million short was placed hours before a US-Iran ceasefire.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is currently investigating these suspicious trades.
