My sister got her first callout payout ever today!
After a week of posting callouts with no payout, she was confused (and disappointed)- so I suggested to @Pumpfun that they add a notification/area to provide tips for callouts and encouragement to not give up too early. They have that now! (Achievements were also a suggestion of mine, my sis has been enjoying unlocking them too like the achievement for her first trade.)
Callouts are CONTENT, and just like any other content creator on a brand new account, it takes some time posting before people start to take notice.
She has less than 50 followers and got $43, a big amount to her, more than she buys of coins actually. Also for the skeptics I never mentioned her actual account to pump-this humble $43 was all her and it took a full week of calls earning nothing to get there.
I donโt think people view callouts or rewards from the right perspective. There are no other creator programs that allow EVERY user to earn by default ,and pay out daily. Usually thereโs a high bar to meet before you can apply for creator programs. Callouts aim to reward value adding content to their platform just like any other content creator program does, the stuff people find useful and engage with and make money from. Not just a good call with no engagement.
When you view it that way, you should intuitively begin to understand why you need to not count yourself out after a day or two of effort! Itโs also a social trading app, it helps to put your username out there to build a bit of an audience. Not necessary but helpful, bc then those subscribers get pinged for your callouts to consider them.
Callouts are infinitely better than any other content creator program, I encourage everyone to try it esp if youโre already trading.
Marking as paid even tho I wasnโt paid for this post, bc I am a signed Trader with pump. :)

An update of the latest Callout Rewards algo iterations (not final!):
1. Tailer PNL now contributes to your rewards in the form of a multiplier: the more your followers win, the more you win. The more your followers get hurt, the more you get hurt.
Lowcaps are eligible again, *provided* that tailers actually have an opportunity to SUCCEED!
2. Volume is no longer the sole attribution driver
3. Abnormally high amounts of callouts per day will punish you
Those with a keen eye may have noticed weโve been shipping more features on the callouts tab on the Pumpfun app in order to give you more insights as to how your tailers are performing.
Yesterday, we added a 1hr & 4hr metric for your follower PNL. The intention behind this metric is to provide more transparency and weed out the traders who may be leading their followers to slaughter within a short timeframe of their callout being posted. (credit to @PoorGoat_ for some good stats, shown below)
There is an IMPORTANT caveat with this feature, which I want to make VERY clear: if a trader has GOOD hold times and their callouts take longer to successfully play out, do not assume that they are a bad trader to follow if their metrics are skewed on lower timeframes.
Some people callout a token which may go underwater over the short term, but results in a great trade over a period of days/weeks for their tailers. It is very important that this distinction is made!
Expect more changes to follow with the algorithm itself, as well as more comms around callout rewards!

The thing I also love about social trading on @Pumpfun is you can see exactly who is real (puts their money where their mouth is) and whoโs not.
Itโs easy to be loud and hold your bags on green dayโs, not so many find it easy on the red ones.
Lead by example and be the change you want to see here.
