近期规则调整，引起了很多会员的困惑、不解。
在此，我代表管理组全体成员，向天空家人们真诚的说一声，抱歉！
向各位高清发烧友和受影响的兄弟友站表达真诚的歉意！
同时，有几点澄清和说明，想让大家知道。
有会员对保号规则有所疑惑，在此重申下账号保留规则，影帝及以上级别永久保留，不受活跃性登录限制。现在不会改变，将来也不会改变！
规则调整的初衷，相信很多爱好者也能体谅和理解，我们站之前多宽松相信大家都是有所体会的，原本是希望大家回归PT的本质，人人为我，我为人人，不要为了刷而刷，享受下载的同时多积极保种，我们接受任何合理以及良性的反馈和意见甚至批评，也会积极去应对和调整，所以经历数日统计的会员反馈意见，感觉我们调整的幅度确实过大了，真的伤害了一部分爱好者，这是我们不乐见的，最终我们决定调整回原本的级别，做种活跃度大家也是有目共睹的，不减反增，我们不是更应该坚持下去吗？但是站点不光是看数据，更应该注重人性化，我们真的站在会员的立场上去仔细聆听了，考虑了，决定调整回升级规则。
个别人士把这次级别调整说成是向利益靠拢，这是事实吗？捐助自愿，一向如此，对于捐助这块我也不想多解释什么，很多人也都明白网站的长远发展离不开这些，而这次的级别调整并不是单项改革，现在还一直置顶挂着的红字招募人才，前不久施行的前1小时做种限制盒子等措施，难道都是分开的措施？不是有利的？还是有利的就不说？你们难道不知道限制盒子这个是直接有损捐助的吗？很多会员捐助入站都会问能刷盒子吗？站内会员刷盒子前有些一般会捐助保证在一定时限内不计量尽情刷等等，难道又是我自己要打脸自己了？自损利益？所以你们觉得这个逻辑通吗？硬要扣帽子给我？那我能怎么办？我感觉自己真是里外不是人，原本认为改革总是有阵痛的，但是确实有时候改革过猛无心伤害了会员感情，确实是我该反思的。
对于这次级别变动，有个别直接是谩骂，嘲讽等等，认为我们肯定是为了利益之类而为，那我请问下您，如果只是为了您认为的利益，我们搞个全站集体超难的考核不就完事了？而且每年都搞，一年不止搞一次，说法就是提高大家的积极性活跃性嘛，这样您乐意了？反观级别调整呢？给我们本身能带来什么？原本的初衷只是想要更多的人活跃起来，积极的参与上传下载分享之中，而这个调整实质影响了您什么呢？要您花费了？您无法下载了？希望大家好好仔细想一想玩PT的初衷，当然了，我们也进行了反思，虽然实质不影响任何下载权益，但是伤害了很多以前积极保种和喜欢“打怪升级”的爱好者，这点是我们所忽视的，但是我们不会改变当初改革的初衷，在接收到的很多反馈中，有人提到要积极性就搞定期考核啊，就搞HR规则啊等等，这倒是我始料未及的，原本不想搞这些，只是想着调整下级别就可以了，一样能提高积极性，现在接收到的反馈中既然很多人提及各类提高积极性的意见，我们也会综合考量后期的改革制度，但是放心，一定会更加人性化的执行，绝不会以牺牲会员的既得利益为代价，也希望大家能给予更多的参考意见等。我们也感激用户一直以来的支持和理解，也想从调整中找到一个平衡点，所以希望大家多多给予意见，我们肯定会综合参考，人性化处理，毕竟都会成长嘛。
还有针对最近几天PT贴吧等爱好者群体的言论，每个PT站其实都不容易，PT是个小圈子，大家都是用爱发电，围炉取暖，在这个小圈子里享受自己的小小爱好，小小乐趣，哪个PT站没有碰到过杠精？没有被威胁过？没有被攻击过等等？面对恐吓威胁等，你的处理方式会是什么？退缩？让步？就范？还是？如果是群体合理的呼声，相信任何管理组都不会漠视，也会做出反思和调整，毕竟用户才是一个站点的基石，一个站能存活靠的不是管理组，而是用户本身，这个道理难道我们不明白？希望背道而驰吗？理性的提出问题，然后解决问题才是根本，而不是乱喷，乱骂，甚至动不动就挥舞着举报的旗号，你让一个站点何以自处？你让整个PT圈子怎么办？虽然我们不能代表PT圈子，但也是其中一份子，我们规则调整有欠考虑，可能太激进了，但是我真的不想由此伤害到整个圈子，伤害到任何爱好者的利益。我非常佩服一些真的有勇气站出来说话的爱好者，甚至自戕的用户，哪怕是那位举着举报大旗维权的，我相信你们的初衷肯定是好的，一切都是误会。我真的特别理解你们的一腔热血，如果你们还认可我们，随时欢迎回家，请联系我们，我们也会主动统计后解禁。那些满口污言秽语，一直挑拨煽动的人，我们不欢迎！
另外，感谢pt吧管理员的秉公管理，我们时刻在倾听用户的心声，呼吁大家理性讨论，多点理解，少点误会！特别感谢会员tomorrow505（Auto-Feed作者），感谢您对pt圈做出的贡献和对我们提出的意见！我们已将发布权限调回原来的级别，后期会加强规范管理。作者说的一段话让我深受启发，在此引用。这是个小圈子，越安静越好，或者什么瓜什么瓜尽量不要伤其根本。私以为PT的内部需要团结，分享喜好，兴趣爱好得到释放，至保种党刷流党发种党佛系党及其之间的矛盾，都属于小问题，可以分群体进行小范围辩论。PT根本在于丰富的资源，健康的平台，乐于分享的用户。可能说得比较理想化，但是支撑PT一路的就这些东西。而且平台跟用户是相辅相成的，平台好了，用户来了分享资源；用户好了，平台才有活力。

The project will absolutely be back online. Ignore any gossip you may stumble upon.
The platform is finished and online yet requires more testing. The tracker and other backends are running. You can access the IRC server using your temporary password.
Seed the torrents you already have in the clients. Higher the load the better. You can view current tracker peer numbers at the status page.

Did you find yourself with an avatar when you did not have one? Fear not, your account was not hacked, it's part of an effort to restore some fun to Cinemagddon. The forums have been rather blah lately and many posters had no avatars. When a cache of famous avatars was discovered going unused the idea to share them with these blank canvases came on like a light bulb.
If you like your new avatar, keep it.
If you do not like it, you can easily change or delete it. (Sorry for the trouble)
If you have no avatar, maybe think about adding one.
Keep an eye out for more avatar related news as it happens.
Reward Threads
Another ongoing effort to brighten up the place is taking care of the reward threads. You may also have noticed they are once again being attended to. There is still quite a bit of catching up to do in them, but progress is being made. We've taken care of over 60 torrent improvements in Improve Torrent Descriptions/Gain GBs! in the past couple weeks, but it still has about 400 torrents to be improved and paid on.
We're doing what we can to make your experience at Cinemageddon as good as possible. And we will not stop trying to continually make it better.

We are extremely happy to announce that we managed to cross 100,000 active game groups! This is a truly monumental achievement, and we are so very proud of everyone who has contributed to this community. In celebration of this milestone, there will be global buffs providing 1.5x torrent gold and 0.5x download for 10 days. This means that any torrents you seed will generate 50% more gold and any data you download will be halved.
Editing Permission Rework
We have recently adjusted and simplified the permissions surrounding groups and torrents. In general, access to torrent and group editing is widened. Previously, the system was partially based on timers, obscure conditions, and quite a few bugs. Now, there are three simple tiers: Amateurs and Gamers can edit their own torrents and groups they've uploaded into, unless the group is checked; Pro Gamers can edit anything unless the group is checked; Elite Gamers can edit anything.
For those who are unfamiliar with checking, Torrent Moderators can designate a group as checked if the torrents and the group as a whole are up to our standards. Overall, this means that the groups follow certain formatting and aesthetic standards, that any useful information is added as far as is reasonable, and the torrents adhere to our rules. The specific details can vary between platforms, however.
Reminder About μTorrent
We would also like to take this time as a reminder that in 2.5 months, all μTorrent versions will be removed from the client whitelist. We have seen a big decline in μTorrent uses already. Prior to the announcement, 27 users were seeding over 1k torrents and 11 users were seeding over 2k torrents. Now, there are only 15 users seeding over 1k torrents and just 4 users seeding over 2k torrents. There are overall still 551 users who announced with μTorrent in some extent, but we expect this change to cause little disruption to our overall swarm health. In simpler words, file availability should largely remain the same.
For those who are still looking into switching, we have set up a support thread here with a linked wiki article that can be quite useful.

15th-anniversary gift! Starting on the 4th of September until the 11th of September you will be able to claim a gift, by clicking in the lower-left corner of the website, once every 24 hours. The gift is similar to the one in the shop and you can win: Upload, FLCoins, Invitations, FLTokens, VIP.
Discounted Shop prices! From this moment up until the 11th of September, you can enjoy the Shop at reduced prices!
Invites for everyone! From this moment on all user classes (including User, Power User, Addict and Elite) can generate invitation codes. All users that had 2 invites available or less in their account now have 3 invites that can be generated and used.
Double the FLCoins amount for any donation that chooses the FLCoins reward. Every year we have a lot of users that support us and help us keep the site alive. This year we have something for them too! From this moment up until the 11th of September, all donations that are made for FLCoins will get double the amount. The reward table from here was not updated to easily reflect the bonus amount, but if you choose 5000 FLCoins as reward, you receive 5000 FLCoins more as a bonus! Regardless of the chosen amount, the bonus is double!

Oppaitime is shutting down within the next few hours due to legal concerns with our host. There is no law enforcement currently involved with this situation as far as I am aware, but our host has informed us that they can't continue hosting us given the kind of content OT tracks.
No staff are willing to put in the effort to migrate to a new host or purge content that our host disallows, so we've made the unfortunate decision to shut down, and have a very short host-imposed time limit to be finished by. We will retain complete backups of the site and control over the domain name so the site can potentially be restored in the future. We recommend that you do not remove OT torrents from your torrent clients for a while just in case we do end up restoring the site in the near future.
Apologies for this whole situation and the short notice, but we all knew it was coming eventually. I will repeat that to the best of my knowledge, no law enforcement is actively involved in this and users should not be concerned about any legal repercussions or even exposure of their data at all.
Thanks for sticking with us all these years.
