We are more than excited to announce that we now have our own place: a psychedelic homebase for vienna. This event will be the first to give you a glance into our new location.

Beginning at 18h we will have some psychedelic news followed by a detailed and ground-up look at how to grow all sorts of mushrooms using spores. Mushrooms are one of the most diverse and interesting organisms on this planet, more closely related to humans than to plants. Their usefulness goes way beyond psychedelic exploration and touches all aspects of human life. So if you ever wondered how to grow your own, this evening will be for you.
After this we have some good music and punsch prepared, celebrating a little christmas party. Feel free to stay, connect and share some good conversations with likeminded people.

Since the location is still a work-in-progress we want to use that day to ask for donation items. From Goa-tapestries, chairs or any psychedelic related decoration or artwork, everything helps. Next year there will be an offical launch event for the place.

for the first event in 2023 we have something very special for you.
Sonja Busch, cofounder of the Holotropic Association of Europe, will give us an indepth look into Holotropic Breathwork.
Holotropic Breathwork was founded in the mid 70s by the psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Stanislav Grof and his wife Christina Grof. After many years of working with LSD and using it in a therapeutic setting with hundreds of patients, psychedelics became illegal. While looking for different means to access expanded states of consciousness, they turned to breath and music. Through elevated breathing accompanied by evocative music participants could enter into altered states of consciousness and experience healing and insight similar to LSD.

Following up on our very insightful last event about Holotropic Breathwork we want to dive deeper into the story behind ist founder - Stan Grof.
The Way of the Psychonaut, a documentary by filmmaker Susan Hess Logeais, explores the life and work of Stanislav Grof, Czech-born psychiatrist and psychedelic psychotherapy pioneer. Stan’s journey into the healing power of non-ordinary states of consciousness began in the early 50s while working as a student volunteer at a psychiatric clinic in Prague. At that time the Sandoz Pharmaceutical Company in Swiss sent out free samples of LSD-25, a new psychoactive substance discovered by Albert Hofmann, to psychiatrists and psychologists all over the world, with the invitation to conduct research with the substance. Stan happened to assist in the studies that followed, sitting for hundreds of voluneers who took LSD, and finally also taking it himself, which changed his life forever. Stan Grof's work over the next decades and up to this day influenced the discipline of psychology and profoundly changed many individual lives.

For our upcoming event Tereza Rumlerová, PhD joins us from the Czech Republic and leads us deep into the Amazon jungle to explore the therapeutic potential of the Amazonian dieting process.
The healing potential of plant diets has been known in the Amazon since time immemorial. It is considered one of the most important methods in traditional Amazonian medicine and plays a big role in the training of local shamans. In it, so-called "teacher plants" are used and the individual stays in isolation and observes certain restrictions over an extended period of time.
In this lecture, Tereza will introduce you to this concept with a focus on the dieting process used in the rehabilitation and healing center Takiwasi in Peru. She will talk about the experiences of individuals after completing the diet and whether changes within the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model are perceived over time from the process.

Tereza Rumlerová, Ph.D. is a psychologist engaged in research of traditional Amazonian medicine.
