•You can authenticate a Longchamp bag by checking the stitching, zipper, buttons, and materials.

1. Zipper: The zipper pull is circular and has a jockey and horse design. The zipper is made by YKK and has the letters "YKK" on it. Also check for ‘45’ numbers on the zipper as they are many fakes without it.
2. Stitching: The stitching is consistent and uniform. 
3. Buttons: The branding is spelled correctly and the snap closes easily. There are two types of buttons used in Longchamp bags: one with stripes and the other with circles. 
4. Material: Real Longchamps are made from genuine leather and nylon. 

❗️EXTRA NOTES:

1. Firstly, the logo should be in the shape of the Longchamp horse and must not appear distorted.

2. Secondly, check the zipper for the small detail of the number ‘45’—if the bag is fake, it will only have a ‘4’.

3. Lastly, the serial number should match the country where the bag was made. For example, if it was made in France, the code should be SVB, while bags made in China will have the code WIL.
