I. There is nothing to indicate that Cain and Abel were twins, and the idea of Cain being a child of Satan is absurd within itself.
i. Genesis 4 makes it clear Cain's father is Adam, and with CI's logic, Adam is Satan.
ii. Cain was conceived after Genesis 3, so the Fruit could not be Eve begetting a child with Satan.
iii. Esau and Jacob were twins, and the Scriptures make it clear they were so. This is important since if both Cain and Abel were twins, the Scriptures would have stated it so.
iv. The closest thing a child of Satan would be a Nephilim, but Genesis 6 makes it clear that the Nephilim abominations came about well after Cain killed Abel. If Cain was a Nephilim or Satan somehow altered Cain's very essence in the womb, all assuming the Nephilim are angel-human abominations, then it would be jarring for Scripture to not state this.

II. Genesis 3:15 clearly refers to Mary, and I already covered this in the Assumption posts earlier. Besides that, I will cite several Bible verses from the King James Bible in order to put into perspective how come this is so:

That aside, disregarding Mary being the Woman that Satan has total war with, CI fails to comprehend how the Jews are Israelites. 1: No Catholic or Orthodox Christian has ever considered Mary to be God or ever made such a claim. So stop insinuating that we do.

2: We likewise have never considered Mary to be the Mediator, we instead call her an intercessor, meaning that she and others in Heaven as illustrated by Revelation 8:3-4 offer up the prayers of those on Earth up to God.

3: Luke 1:47 does not contradict Mary's sinlessness, it simply points out that Mary was protected from sin by God. The Greek translation for "Graced One" literally means blameless and thus free from sin. The angel declared her to be "full of grace", thus without sin.

4: Another ridiculous assertion given the previously stated verses from Revelation clearly show that those in Heaven do indeed care for us to offer up our prayers to God.

5: To pray means to implore, to ask. You evidently do not know the difference between prayer and worship and you instead conflate the two. We pray to her in order to ask for her intercession as the Marriage at Bethany illustrates when she asked Jesus to make the water into wine.

Conclusion, stop lying about Catholic doctrine and consider the fact that your hesitancy to run to Mary stems from a lack of true worship of God on your part.

Mary’s title of mediatrix arises from her cooperation in the Incarnation and in the Redemption of mankind. Through her “yes” (Lk 1:38), she became the Theotokos (God-bearer), and, as the “New Eve,” she is “the Mother of all living.”

Irenaeus (A.D. 120–200) wrote, “As by a virgin the human race had been bound to death, by a virgin it is saved, the balance being preserved, a virgin’s disobedience by a virgin’s obedience” (Against Heresies, 3, 22, 19). Eve made the Fall possible, but Adam effected it; Mary made our Redemption possible (by consenting to bring the Savior into the world), but Jesus effected it.



God permitted the Redemption of mankind to depend on the free-will decision of a human being. Whether or not we would have a mediator was dependent on Mary’s “yes.” Had there been no “yes” from Mary, there would have been no mediator. Thus the graces that come through Jesus may be said to come to us, in a secondary way, via Mary—not as the origin of the graces, but as a conduit. The Catholic Church always has taught that Jesus Christ alone redeemed mankind (neither Mary nor any other creature had the power to do so), and ultimately only through him are salvation and grace obtained.

Even we are mediators, in a lesser sense. The word mediator means someone who is a go-between. In 1 Timothy 2:5, which refers to Jesus as the “one mediator,” the Greek word for “one” is heis, which means “first” or “primary” and does not denote something exclusive. In fact, we are all mediators when we pray for one another. As members of the Mystical Body of Christ, we all share in Christ’s role as mediator, but our efforts at being go-betweens “work” only because of what he has done.

Our mediating in no way diminishes the role of Christ as mediator; in fact, it glorifies the Father, because it is through Jesus that we can approach with confidence the throne of grace (Heb 4:14-16). How much more does Jesus give his mother Mary the privilege to be a participant in the distribution of grace!
