Not true. Baptists are the oldest church they go straight back to John the Baptist! But the Romans were afeared of them and so Constantine subverted the church with paganism, fortunately Pastor Jim was able to hid an immaculate copy of the KJV for the time of revival, when it was discovered Martin Luther overthrew the anti-Christian Pope and eventually saw the restoration of the true Baptist Bible Believing religion

Sermons for Lent: How do I avoid Spiritual Burnout?

This Lent, especially with the amount of prayers, penances, and sacrifices we are giving for various intentions and purposes, we are only human. Weak and brittle in nature without Christ. At times, we will become exhausted, which is not a bad thing. It is bad however, or worse, if we do not consult Christ and rest upon Him. It is humility to admit that we are nothing without Christ, but it is true piety to enact this statement within our day to day lives.

St. Paul on the Jews

"...Those Jewish persecutors killed both the Lord Jesus and the Prophets, and and drove us out of their midst. They are displeasing to God, and are the enemies of all mankind."

Something I had wanted to share in regards to forgiveness.

Many people struggle with it, it is not an easy thing to do. Yet, once you're able to forgive, the burden is lighter. As time passes, the offenses and personal grievances fade. While we should seek to forgive everyone in our hearts, you do not owe someone forgiveness if they are not truly sorry for what they had done (repentance.)

If you struggle to forgive...
- Consider praying for them.
- Consider that they might have offended you without great knowledge (arrogance or accident)
- At the very least, one should will the good of another. (Catholic definition of love, not secular.)
- Offer your grievances to God.

Even the greatest of Saints had struggled with forgiveness. It's nothing to be ashamed of if one puts in the effort and time to change that habit.
