“A flourishing society is a fabric of historical loyalties and expectations, shaped by the free dealings of people over many generations. If you describe it as a contract, then it is not a contract between the living, but between the living, the unborn and the dead.”

~Sir Roger Scruton

What comes to mind when you think of Christ's command to take dominion over the world? On the rare occasion modern Christians think of taking dominion, they limit it exclusively to evangelism and missions. And these are certainly powerful weapons of dominion, but they are not the only ones. https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/building-a-parallel-economy?s=w

St. Patricks day

"I knew not the true God . . . The Lord opened the understanding of my unbelief . . . I was not worthy . . . Love of God and fear of Him increased more and more . . . By the help of God so it came to pass . . . Because of His indwelling Spirit who hath worked in me until this day . . . Let who will laugh and insult . . . Though I be rude in all things . . . I baptize so many thousands of men . . . the Lord ordained clergy everywhere by means of my mediocrity . . . The Lord is mighty to grant to me afterward to be myself spent for your souls."

"Because children have abounding vitality, because they are in spirit fierce and free, therefore they want things repeated and unchanged. They always say, “Do it again”; and the grown-up person does it again until he is nearly dead. For grown-up people are not strong enough to exult in monotony. But perhaps God is strong enough to exult in monotony. It is possible that God says every morning, “Do it again” to the sun; and every evening, “Do it again” to the moon. It may not be automatic necessity that makes all daisies alike; it may be that God makes every daisy separately, but has never got tired of making them. It may be that He has the eternal appetite of infancy; for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we.”

~G.K. Chesterton

Conservatives blaming price inflation on Joe Biden is pure cope. It was under Trump that the Fed more than doubled its assets (i.e., created new dollars). Sure, Joe Biden hasn't done anything to help, but for crying out loud, he left Trump's pick for Fed chairman, Jerome Powell, in his position. The underlying cause of most price inflation, the Fed creating trillions of dollars out of thin air, began under Trump. To all conservatives, stop coping and admit Trump was a failure.

Every single person who believes in continuing gifts and miracles should be taken as a liar unless they are proven to be deceived or mentally ill.
