Wreckage from the K2 Airways Boeing 737-400 cargo aircraft operating Flight KTA1732 has been located in the Arabian Sea as search and recovery efforts continue for the five crew members on board.

According to Pakistani authorities, debris from the aircraft was found approximately 53 nautical miles south of Ormara after more than 12 hours of intensive search operations involving the Pakistan Navy, the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, rescue vessels and aircraft.

The final vertical rate reported on flight radar sites shows the plane was dropping at a rate of 22,400 feet per minute.

The crew, all Pakistani nationals, has been identified as: Captain Muhammad Rizwan Idris, First Officer Faisal Jatui, Flight Engineers Muhammad Hamid and

Flight tracking data showed the aircraft making significant altitude changes before disappearing from radar approximately 155 nautical miles west of Karachi over the Arabian Sea.

Our deepest condolences go out to their families, friends, and colleagues during this heartbreaking time. May they rest in peace.
