Oei Tiong Ham Park area GCB sold for S$31.3 million
โDespite a more selective luxury property market in 2026, demand for prime GCB assets remains resilient, underpinned by the scarcity of such GCB redevelopment plots and continued interest from ultra-high-net-worth individuals,โ says Savills Singapore.

๐๏ธ๐ฟ Jurong Lake District is finally moving from masterplan vision to something much more real.
URA has launched the tender for the Town Hall Link white site, one of the key parcels expected to drive the next phase of development in Jurong Lake District.
The numbers are significant:
๐ก Up to 1,200 private homes
๐ข At least 40,000 sqm of office space
๐๏ธ 44,000 sqm for complementary uses such as retail, hotels and community facilities
๐ Direct connections to Jurong East MRT and the future CR19 Cross Island Line station
๐ณ Close to Jurong Lake Gardens and a future park
Why does this matter?
Jurong Lake District has long been positioned as Singapore's largest mixed-use business district outside the city centre. But the full transformation will take time.
The Government has also restructured the original larger master-developer parcel into a smaller, more manageable site โ reducing development complexity and helping restart the next phase of the district's growth.
For property buyers, this is a long-term story.
๐ More jobs and business activity
๐ Future MRT connectivity
๐ณ Lifestyle amenities and Jurong Lake Gardens
๐๏ธ A growing live-work-play ecosystem
But it is important to manage expectations too. Major infrastructure milestones will continue to roll out over the coming years, so this is unlikely to be a quick-flip opportunity.

A Singapore district court has ruled that a landlord's notice to vacate did not by itself end a tenancy, cutting the double rent period claimed by EG Development. The court also found the landlord breached its repair obligations at a Telok Kurau penthouse hit by repeated flooding.
