Today we recorded a new podcast, we will try to edit it as soon as possible. These are mostly answers to your questions, but in places we were blown away :)
In the meantime, I would like to tell you about a book that I happened to read the other day.
I must admit that for various reasons I haven't read fiction for a long time and so I decided to fill in this gap. This time I wanted to join the world literature, which is defined as a classic. The first book from the list was the novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by the Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I didn't have any preferences, it was just that this book was the first in several lists of the world's best works.
Interestingly, the novel was written in the genre of magical realism and published in 1967, a year before the publication of another bestseller, "The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge". Maybe the time was special then?
The book itself left me with heavy feelings on the verge of sadness, longing and mild depression.
At first, it seems funny that the founder of the family tries to get into any adventure for the sake of finding the truth. (Interestingly, one of the key mystical characters in the novel wears a wide-brimmed hat and himself extremely resembles another famous character from Carlos Castaneda's books). Continuing to read on, with each page you seem to be drawn into the vortex of the fate of the Buendía family. Almost all of them live bright lives full of passions, contradictions and mistakes. Mistakes that fatally affect future generations of the whole family. It is amazing how the author easily and naturally combines historical events with magic and it does not seem far-fetched in any way. The main characters of the novel, despite their ancestral vice, inability to love, have great will and personal power, which helps them to start all over again after another defeat, and even after death they do not find peace and continue to live as ghosts among the living.
The hardest thing for me in the novel was not even the main idea of loneliness, which is close to all of us to one degree or another, but that fatalism, the inability to change anything, destined long before the end of the entire Buendía family, and with it the entire town of Macondo.
Then I remembered a phrase that I remembered as a child - Any story, if told to the end, ends with death. And also, as Don Genaro told Carlos, before making a leap into infinity: "We will now be like dust on the road. Perhaps it will get in your eyes again, someday."
A great book worth reading!

А пока хотелось бы рассказать вам об одной книге, которую мне на днях довелось прочитать.
Должен признаться, что по разным причинам я давненько не читал художественной литературы и вот решил восполнить этот пробел. В этот раз захотелось приобщиться к мировой литературе, которая определяется как классика. Первой книгой из списка стал роман колумбийскокго писателя Габриеэля Гарсия Маркеса "Сто лет одиночества". У меня не было никаких предпочтений, просто эта книга была первой в нескольких списках лучших мировых произведений.
Что интересно роман был написан в жанре магического реализма и издан в 1967 году, за год до издания еще одного бестселлера "Учения дона Хуана: Путь знания индейцев яки". Может время тогда было особенным?
Сама книга оставила у меня тяжелые чувства на грани печали, тоски и легкой депрессии.
Поначалу кажутся забавным попытки основателя семьи влезть в любую авантюру ради поиска истины. (Интересно, что один из ключевых мистических персонажей романа носит широкополую шляпу и сам крайне напоминает другого известного персонажа из книг Карлоса Кастанеды). Продолжая читать дальше, с каждой страницей тебя будто затягивает в водоворт судеб рода Буэндиа. Почти все они проживают яркие жизни, полные страстей, противоречий и ошибок. Ошибок, которые фатально влияют на будущие поколения всего рода. Удивительно, как автор легко и непринужденно совмещает исторические события с магией и волшебством и это никак не кажется надуманным. Главные персонажи романа, несмотря на свой родовой порок, неспособность любить, обладают огромной волей и личной силой, которая помогает им раз за разом начинать все заново после очередного поражения и даже после смерти они не находят покоя и продолжают жить призраками среди живых.
Самым тяжелым для меня в романе стала даже не основная мысль - одиночества, которая близка всем нам в той и ли иной степени, а тот фатализм, невозможность что либо изменить, предначертанный задолго до конца всего рода Буэндиа, а вместе с ним и всего городка Макондо.
Тут мне вспомнилась одна фраза, которую я запомнил еще в детстве - Любая история, если рассказать ее до конца заканчивается смертью. А еще как сказал Дон Хенаро Карлосу, перед тем как совершить прыжок в бесконечность: "Теперь мы будем как пыль на дороге, возможно однажды она снова попадет тебе в глаза".
Отличная книга, которую стоит прочитать.

Пока не вышел новый подкаст, отвечаю на один из самых часто задаваемых вопросов - Когда будет следующий эпизод?
Я прекрасно понимаю, что мало кому интересна финансовая составляющая проекта. Однако, бесплатно в этой жизни ничего не бывает, поэтому чтобы у проекта было продолжение необходимы деньги.
Сборы на 1-ю серию "Пятно" проходили очень очень небыстро, по сути мы собрали деньги уже когда выпустили фильм.
В этот раз мы сначала собираем минимально необходимую сумму, а потом уже начинаем работать. Нам пришлось отказаться от живых актеров именно с целью экономии средств и времени на производство серий.
К сожалению нам не удалось найти крупных спонсоров и поэтому будущее проекта зависит исключительно от Вас, наших подписчиков!
Я сам из тех, кто крайне редко дает деньги на что-то не осязаемое, поэтому у меня нет никаких претензий и требований к нашим зрителям. Проект "Икстлан" будет продолжаться так или иначе, потому что это требование Духа ко мне лично и тем немногим соратникам. которые вместе со мной считают его нужным и востребованным.
От Вас зависит как скоро мы сможем его реализовать!

I am well aware that few people are interested in the financial component of the project. However, nothing comes for free in this life, so in order for the project to continue, money is required.
The donations or the 1st episode of "The Spot" were gathered very slow, in fact, we raised the funds we need only when we released the episode.
This time, we first collect the minimum required amount, and then we start working. We had to abandon live actors precisely in order to save money and time for the production of episodes.
Unfortunately, we were unable to find major sponsors and therefore the future of the project depends solely on You, our contributors!
I myself am one of those who rarely gives money for something intangible, so I have no complaints or demands to our viewers. The Project Ixtlan will continue one way or another, because this is the call of the Spirit for me personally and those few colleagues. who, along with me, consider it necessary and in demand.
It depends on You how soon we will be able to implement it!
