TL; DR;
Don't invest much time in learning specific tool, framework or language internals if the purpose is only for "self study, self improvement, self learning", cause
- it makes you have wrong assumptions about work of other similar tool (Postgres != Mysql, .NET != Python, etc).
- it is very time consuming
- over the years, when you gotta switch to other tools, frameworks and tools - you will forget all you knew
- over the years tools are going to evolve, and all your knowledge and effort is going to be deprecated

So what I would say, this is not enough. The problem is how to deal with mental breakdown state, when your brain literally is not responding, it is loading, and it is taking you 10 seconds to parse simple boolean logic like "1 is less then or equal 2 and 1 is bigger or equal than 2".


So advice: when you prep, or solving leetcode, put time pressure on you, don't just sit aside for 2 hours trying to come up with something. No, 20 minutes, if you didn't do it - it is failed.
