Just skip. Binary lifting + segment tree + some other shit I don't even know about, when leetcode soon will be replaced with AI -> no thanks, I will enjoy my vacation.
Problem potentially can be good, but spending 2-3 hours for one problem - no.
Do not recommend due to complexity

Vlad posted a q about what people use as a “framework during work”.

^^ reading comments by people I feel myself so outdated and dumb...
I recommend to read and to at least be aware and maybe use

you know how I use ai?
I open cursor, and prompt what needs to be done... that's it.
We have access to logs via tools/mcp (I don't think I understand the diff at the moment 😅).
We have some skills as well, these are legit useful, cause we are frequently debugging low level networks shit, ebpf, kernel via CLI
But still, I just type prompt in cursor😁. Maybe it is because we are infra team and we don't need these spec driven development, and stuff, but maybe no.

I guess first time in my last 8 years of career I stopped myself before going and learning something that is used/known by everyone in industry at the moment.
What stopped me is this feeling that time investment might not worth it. That same feeling that I had in uni for some nonsense/bs subject that you just learn to pass exam and throw it away FOREVER.
Especially seeing that this happened years ago, people were deving harnesses, agentic, spec driven, subagents, mcps, bla bla bla.
Then new model released -> everything what was done by people is supported by that model natively, and then bye bye the knowledge and skills you've got.
And then you are like: "смотрите я сделал... ну и нахуй я ета дєлал?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9udxWFXpj_U

AAAAAAAAAAND
I have big regret of studying things no one needs anymore (only books):
- Clean Architecture / SOLID by uncle Bob-> trash bin
- "blue book" domain driven design by Evans -> trash bin
- "red book" domain driven design by Vernon -> trash bin
- "code complete" by I don't remember whom -> trash bin
- "containerized apps / microservices / CQRS" by Microsoft -> trash bin
- CLR via C# Richter -> trash bin
- "design patterns" by Fowler -> trash bin
among useful for now -> everything I read about low level (not much unfor) + architecture, so Martin Kleppmann, Architecture in practice by Kazman, etc.
My exp talking about System design solutions with AI last year was bad, cause LLM's arch seems like working -> but I have understanding and feeling when it will not, and I was always right and proved that by POC. But I'm not sure it is the same nowadays. Maybe it will give me better system design than I can do....

I didn't think about it before, but this is so painful to realize.
All these books for sure helped landing 6-8k offers having 2 years of exp back then😁😁😁. So it was worth it.
But understanding that it is like thousands of hours spent into it to understand and learn thing that became completely useless now...

Good problem (graphs ofc), was a bit tough for me, but still I would recommend. Has pattern.

Good problem again, has patterns, not hard, definitely I do recommend it.
To understand easier -> check comments under that post, hate when leetcode shows grid as just 2d array in one line without visual.

AI WON'T REPLACE YOU, DON'T WORRY. Meanwhile I'm checking whether I can be a boxing coach part time, just in case😁😁😁
btw, I was legit considering what else I can do except engineering, cause this was the only job I had since 18 y.o, excluding 2 weeks selling cotton candies at 15.
I can be:
- not bad mentor for guitar/drums (or playing on the street)
- maybe not bad boxing coach
- make custom homemade notebooks???
- maybe do some authored media content (in case there will be non-AI internet created by and for people like me without ai slop)
I mean that's it. Otherwise I'm useless skinbag, I cannot do anything else, have no idea how cars work, how electricity works, no construction skill (ШТУКАТУР/ШПАКЛЬОВКА), no healthcare degree.
===
Pls share what are your considerations for failover (work switch from IT)
