Interesting problem, for some reason I got the wrong intuition 2 times before I got to pretty straight forward one.
A bit annoying edge cases. No patterns (except potential use of stack)

Folks, with some transition of industry - I have to draw a cutline for Leetcode.
Now I have 839 solved problems. I have seen many initiatives across different big tech companies to push for “AI coding interviews” instead of classic Leetcode.
Besides that, I don’t think I learn much from daily, and honestly I don’t think I want to learn more than needed for interview atm.

So, the cutline is 1k solved problems. We need 150 more, which is quite a lot honestly, but this is the goal we go to.

Not bad problem, has bunch of patterns, so I would recommend, however a bunch of edge cases, requires building an intuition, can be a bit annoying.

Bullshit problem, but easy/fast to solve, just follow the description

The answer is YES.
The unique "key" of the connected socket is called 5-tuple:
Under the hood, kernel stores TCP sockets and UDP sockets in different tables -> that's why they can live together, and kernel will dispatch them based on protocol on the packet
#network #kernel

You can easily prove by simple app. Create tcp client, udp client and server that listens both udp and tcp on the same port.

Tbh, a bit bullshit question, it is not very hard, but building intuition is a bit annoying the night before the Monday.
However it is good thing to remember bitwise operations a bit

You know this meme, when vibecoder tells someone: "I have created an app check it here localhost:8000/home"?
Let grandad Andrii tell you how we did it in the past 😂. Back in 2018 I was on bootcamp and we (backend) need to expose endpoints for frontend to test/write logic (we didn't have deployment). We could try to do it on LAN if we are on the same wifi, but what if it is late night and we are on the other sides of city: no LAN and no localhost works.
The answer is ngrok. You download a client and run it. It allows you to expose port on localhost and tell that info to ngrok server (publicly available)
Then you can access that url and it will forward request to your localhost.
Have you ever wondered: HOW IT WORKS? how it can dial the localhost in some magical way (ofc answer in the following post)???

Maybe you have missed this news, but Google eventually rolled out feature to change your email to something new/mature for people like me who created email when they are 8 years old🤡
So Google used so called backward compatible dual write / dual read approach:
you'll get emails sent to BOTH of old/new emails.
I tried it, but it does not work really well.
Mostly I don't like that by default for google auth it uses my new email, and most services don't know it, so they consider me as "new account". Same with autofill of the email.
In the end - I changed it back to b.andriy.b2000@gmail.com. It will stay with me till the end of my days probably😂
