Daily 403d day streak

Typical problem, not really very hard, however has some peculiarities you have to know.
Has pattern.

Sometimes once per half a year I am getting CRAZY CRAZY hungry for one-tao days. And eat 2-3 times more than usually.

Today is the day. This is the reason I am working, to say “yes” for mcdonalds delivery at 2 am

Two things you should never do in your company:

1. Allow situation when people are implementing something they will not be oncall for
2. Have one team own the code and another team own release without knowing both sides of the process by both teams

I have seen multiple cases when someone was in rush doing some proj and then transferred(handoff) it to my team.

The amount of pain to sort things out, set up proper oncall actions and troubleshooting guides, dashboards, verify/fix sli/slo IS CRAZY BIG.

Good problem, involves multiple patterns, therefore recommended.

Intuition might be a bit hard - but with the hints it is pretty easy.

Daily 405th day streak.

Sorry, it is for yesterday, didn't create post, because had some social life finally 😁😁

The problem is pretty hard for me (didn't really want to invest much time into it even).

There is no real pattern, so pretty unique problem, so I would not recommend.

Daily 406th day streak.

Right now I'm just going to solve it. Timer started xD. Will update that post.

For now looks exciting, I like things that are "touchable" and the ones I can play in my mind with.

UPD: good problem, a bit of geometry (school level, so good to revise), not really hard problem, however I would say still no pattern, though the problem is fun

Today was measuring blood pressure before fight camp (boxing) by doc. Whole my life I had stable 120/80.
Now in the morning, no coffee, nothing -> 132/87😩

One more hypochondriac anxiety. I mean, being scared of cancer was enough God, pls, stop...

Now as typical old people (26+) I will order blood pressure monitor👍👍👍👍

What a bullshit question. Has a pattern, but while you are reading the question you are like: "WTF".

However, I have to admit - there is pattern

Bullshit question II. WTF is that. Now it is segment trees.

I am not going to do it tbh. This type of nonsense codeforces style shit - no, thanks. I have enough work to do.
Do not recommend.

0.0.0.0/0 CIDR - what is that, and why?

If you ever configured routing in cloud, or locally on the machine - you have probably seen it.

What is CIDR?
I will do more detailed post later, but this is the most common way of defining BUNCH of IPs in single entry.

How it works?
When working with IP - it is very nice to be able to operate on the bits rather than 4 numbers split by dots.

You have the following format <ip>/<mask>, e.g. 1.2.3.0/24.
What it all means? /24 part is how many leftmost bits you will take for that CIDR (in that case 24 bits / 8 -> first 3 octets of ip: 1.2.3|.X). This helps you to understand whether concrete IP is in that CIDR or not, for example for routing.

e.g. for 1.2.3.0/24
1.2.3.1 & 255.255.255.0 = 1.2.3.0 (TRUE)

1.2.4.1 & 255.255.255.0 = 1.2.4.0 (FALSE)

Now, what the hell is 0.0.0.0/0? why /0?
/0 - means we take ZERO leftmost bits, so no matter what address it is "ANDing" (&) it will give you 0. So it means essentially ANY ADDRESS
