Тут уже было вкинуто что languages with more speakers tend to have higher entropy rates, сейчас же докину что “population size can influence the patterns and rates of language change” и “Linguistic innovations that are easy to learn tend to increase in number as a linguistic community grows”.

Также, ничего удивительного в том, что языки, которые быстрее набрали “цифровую базу” сильнее ощущают влияние сети. (неплохо бы считать пользователей отдельно по платформам, с учетом их специфик)

Після цього можна говорити про вимирання 50%-90% існуючих мов, або про появу чисельних мов-гібридів. Мова постійно змінюється; мова є джерелом ідентичності. Якщо мова значним чином вплинула на інші перед зникненням, чи можна говорити про це як про її розвиток?

So let's simplify the functions of language to communication and identity. The first causes a decrease in complexity, the second increases it. Thus, we could say that language changes as a result of the trade-off between forming connections and trying to make sense of the world. With this metaphor, it is easy to imagine how English, divided into "cyberspace" and "meatspace", forms diglossia. But hundreds of hybrid languages, professional and platform slangs and other local forms make it extremely difficult to draw borders between these dynamic amalgamations that we call language.

I mainly choose the language of the post depending on the context and association I have with the language. Some of these associations are: "global lingua franca", "плоские лабиринты", "лімінальність", "パッチワーク", etc/
