С другой - уменьшение срока жизни мемов. Правда, мне не хотелось бы говорить о смерти мемов, так как с уходом пика популярности они всё равно могут оставаться в культурном поле, но о сужении временных рамок трендов можно говорить вполне уверенно.
Может это и связано: большее количество людей тратя большее количество времени банально быстрее "переваривают" культурные изменения. Пускай до Meme Heat Death из замечательного заключения статьи выше далековато, но превращение человечества в ускоряющуюся машину по переработке контента тоже звучит весело.
