✔️1. Подбери качественную обучающую платформу для занятий - сократишь время на подготовку к урокам и повысишь мотивацию учеников.

✔️2. Ориентируйся на цель ученика - подбирай курсы соответственно возрасту и не навязывай грамматику, если студент хочет разговорный курс.

✔️3. Научись планировать и организовывать свою работу - включи отпуска в годовой план занятий и заключи договора со студентами. Это спасет от выгорания и бесконечных отмен-отработок.

What is this channel all about?

Hello, everyone. My name’s Maria Bazhina and i am a teacher of English with over 15 years of experience, the owner of IM-school, a language school in Moscow.

📍Since the first years of my tutoring background, i’ve been helping teachers to start their career, how to organise their work and, eventually, how to make good money from it.

This year we went online and started an online department of our language school. Since then, me personally and my team have performed interviews with dozens of teachers, and that’s what we understood:

🔸most of teachers still use zoom and pdf books for their online teaching
🔸they don’t know how to organise groups of students
🔸they have huge problems with finding more students
🔸there are issues of students cancelling classes out of the blue or even leaving
🔸some of them haven’t got any experience in teaching but are eager to start and work hard, eventually making it a sufficient income

And it struck me - if I could tutor and mentor teachers offline, why can’t I share my experience online. So we created this channel and we are really trying on making useful content, for you, ESL teachers on how to:

Все мы знаем, что английский учат сейчас абсолютно все, и кажется, преподают тоже)
В каждом доме - школа английского, в интернете - сплошь сайты и объявления репетиторов.

🔸Так что же, если я начинающий репетитор, у меня нет шансов найти студентов? Придется идти в найм за копейки?

🔸А вот и нет. Учтите, что не все студенты выбирают крупные школы. Если поищете в интернете отзывы, увидите кучу негатива. Почему? А потому что крупные школы зарабатывают не на стабильности, а на постоянном потоке студентов. Ничего личного, просто бизнес) Вложили деньги в рекламу - обработали заявки - студенты принесли деньги - и так по кругу.

🔸Поэтому люди зачастую выбирают частного преподавателя.
