📣 We are rolling out SSH tunneling for everyone in our latest Android app version

New SSH tunneling method is less vulnerable to protocol-based VPN restrictions because SSH is often used for vital communications such as remote server management or file synchronization/uploading. It is impossible to reliably distinguish between such use-cases and SSH tunneling, and as a result, impossible to block it without too much consequences.

You don't need to change any app settings to use SSH tunneling, app will fallback to this protocol automatically in case it can't connect via WireGuard. In case you need to manually change it, you can do it by using this tutorial: How to change protocols in PrivacyDot Android app
