FIBER III
Whilst it is not the intention of the authors to totally discourage fiber in the diet and the use of fiber supplements, there does not seem to be much use for fiber in colorectal diseases. We, however, want to emphasize that what we have all been made to believe about fiber needs a second look. We often choose to believe a lie, as a lie repeated often enough by enough people becomes accepted as the truth. We urge clinicians to keep an open mind. While there are some benefits of a diet high in natural fiber, one must know the exact indications before recommending such a diet. Myths about fiber must be debunked and truth installed.

Fiber and colorectal diseases: Separating fact from fiction
Whilst fruits and vegetables are an essential part of our dietary intake, the role of fiber in the prevention of colorectal diseases remains controversial. The main feature of a high-fiber diet is its poor digestibility. Soluble fiber like pectins, ...

5 hours of sleep vs 8 hours of sleep a day during the same calorie deficit
First group lost ton of muscle, second mostly fat, during the same calorie deficit, only difference being sleep

The Relationship Between Sleep Quantity, Sleep Quality, and Weight Loss in Adults: A Scoping Review
Sleep is hypothesized to interact with weight gain and loss; however, modeling this relationship remains elusive. Poor sleep perpetuates a cascade of cardiovascular and metabolic consequences that may not only increase risk of adiposity, but also ...

“On top of the Tree of Life, in the Hall of the Palace, someone had found somebody for whom he had been searching for a long, long time. And the tears of joy which were shed became the fruit of the Tree of Life, the grapes whose juice is distilled by the flute of the blue God.”

My response to Excellent Health's latest short on cold exposure and cold water swimming - being the best form of exercise, because cooling down your mitochondria supposedly makes them work better just like cooling down your computer:

,,I disagree with you heavily on this one friend.
When you put bag of tea into warm water, it spreads out faster than in cold water. Plants will grow better in the heat with inferior light as long as they have water, than they would in cold enviroment with better light. Drinks and foods have no taste when they are cold and gain taste with temperature.
When your hands get too cold, it becomes harder to move your fingers, you lose connection to them, and when you put cold on an injury, it becomes numb, you stop feeling it and become less connected to it - unlike when putting heat on it, feeling it more and feeling it get relaxed
There is a electric component to our bodies, but we are not computers. Putting human in a freezer might give your nervous system / mitochondria a boost, but at expense of all of our living tissues that heal and exchange nutrition/blood/information with rest of the body better the warmer they are.
Also, wasn't cold exposure healthy precisely because it forces your body to create infrared light - heat, in absence of infrared light from sunlight? (besides the dopamine boost independent of that)
Because exercise seems to replace sunlight and warming myself up in it better than cold exposure, yet now my body producing heat to replace infrared light from sunlight seems undesirable.
Have a blessed day"

Wédenovo obětování Sebe Sobě Samému má trochu real world paralelu toho když muž obětuje sám sebe, sebezapíráním si a dřinou, u které se dá říci že se ten muž obětuje - proto, aby z toho on sám měl později benefit, a tudíž sebe obětuje sobě samému
