✨ DIY Copper Peptide Glow-Up! 40+ Skin Hack 🌟
Tired of expensive serums? I've cracked the code to affordable, anti-aging magic!
🔬 My homemade copper peptIde serum:
✔️Tackles age spots
✔️Improves skin texture
✔️Fights hyperpigmentation
✔️Way cheaper than store brands
Pro tip: Add Snap-8 for a that gentler "botox-like" magic ✨
FULL RECIPE BELOW!
✨Ingredients:
✔️1 fl oz. Hyaluronic Acid serum (as a hydrating base)
✔️1/4 to 1/3 gram copper peptides powder
✔️Distilled Water (if needed to adjust consistency)
✔️18 drops Leucidal SF Complete Preservative
🙌Optional (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!) 10 mg reconstituted SNAP-8 peptide (in 2 ml of BAC water)
✨Equipment:
Pyrex glass cup
Small whisk
2 oz Dropper bottle or airless bottle (for storing the serum)
✨Instructions:
✔️Combine the Base: In a clean Pyrex glass cup, mix 1 oz. of Hyaluronic Acid with a few drops of distilled water to achieve a slightly thinned consistency.
✔️Whisk in the preservative.
✔️Whisk in copper peptides until smooth.
✔️OPTIONAL: Whisk in the reconstituted SNAP-8 peptide solution.
✔️Store: Pour the serum into an airless bottle to keep it fresh and prevent contamination.
✨Tips:
✔️Use 1/2 to 1 full dropperful 1-2 times per day in face and neck, avoiding eyes and mucous membrane.
✔️Immediately after serum absorbs into the skin fully, apply a rich moisturizer or oil then moisturizer to help the HA work better.
✔️Patch Test: Always do a patch test on a small area of your skin to ensure you don't have any adverse reactions.
✔️Storage: Keep the serum in a cool, dark place to maintain its efficacy. Leucidal drops this will make it smell just a tad like yogurt but it will allow you to avoid fridge storage without it going bad.
✔️Instead of hyaluronic acid serum, use HA powder + distilled water for a more affordable, customizable blend (ie, thinner or thicker serum)
*PS: Please pardon my pet hair everywhere - we have a zoo! LOL 🐈🐈⬛🐕🦺

Trust me, as someone who's battled Hashimoto's, I get how frustrating this is. But before you jump to upping your dose (hello, bathroom bestie 🚽), let's chat about what might ACTUALLY be going on:

This peaky fookin’ shirt fits finally, mate! 👕Birmingham, here I come (by way of Google Earth).
A storage bin in our garage has been hanging onto this shirt since I bought it around 2 years ago.
It was too small (or rather, my dead metabolism and high inflammation made my body too fluffy) to wear without feeling choked around the neck and looking like I was showing off a beer belly. Hint: I don’t drink.
Grateful for all I’ve learned and put into action after years of trying to fit into this shirt…er, lose harmful weight…when the usual methods of losing weight did not get me far enough on their own.

THIS FAIL is why I advocate so much for microdosing GLP-1 for weight loss…
👀 Can you tell where my RS’s system decided that it was unhappy with the additional 1.5 Tirz added midweek?
Yes, RS’s appetite was greatly reduced…
A blessing for any work-from-home ADHD-er who would rather not interrupt their workday with the interruptions of mealtimes…🤓
BUT it really PO’d RS’s adrenals. A. Lot. 😡
So RS took a bit over a week off from all GLP-1s to allow hunger to return so the adrenals could be nurtured with a regular amount of calories…
❌An experience I would not wish upon any other researcher:
😩The rolling hunger pangs were intense and an entirely new sensation RS was not prepared for.
😩RS’s weight shot up 4 lb in 1.5 weeks, despite eating the same amount of food as before RS added Tirz.
😩Inflammation increased and RS felt puffy and swollen.
😩New skin tags from blood sugar going wonky popped up.
😩Severe, chest-clutching anxiety.
😩Sleep was very difficult to achieve, and RS had to temporarily increase adrenal support supplements in order to get through the day.
🧪🧪🧪So when I say I advocate for NANO, MICRO, and MINI dosing whenever possible… I wholeheartedly meant it before, and even moreso now after this adrenal crash due to my N=1 experiment.
RS is finally back on track and rocking and rolling again on small doses. 🎸

KISSPEPTIN-10: This therapy used by functional pro's might be a solution to hormone hell.
Hormone imbalance can be such a DRAG and a HEARTBREAKER.
If your research subject is facing challenges with out-of-whack hormones, low libido, or fertility issues, it might be time to consider Kisspeptin-10 (alongside a professional) for hope and relief.
My newest research paper just dropped, covering the basics of Kisspeptin-10, a peptide showing promise in supporting hormone regulation, libido, sexual function, and fertility (for both female and male subjects)!
This research could be particularly valuable for research subjects struggling with issues like:
BOTH GENDERS:
• Low libido
• Infertility
• Chronic Fatigue
FEMALES:
• Dysmennorhea
• Amenorrhea
• PCOS
• Endometriosis
Subjects researching with this therpay may achieve hormonal balance, enhanced libido, and boosted fertility, potentially resulting in:
• Energy to play with the kiddos without feeling exhausted
• Vitality to take on new projects at work
• Saying goodbye to painful periods every month
• Having regular menstrual cycles and restored fertility
• Making everything from exercise to emotional well being more manageable and fulfilling

Kisspeptin-10 as a Potential Therapy for Low Hormones, Amenorrhea, and Infertility - Peptides
Kisspeptin-10 Peptide as a Potential Therapy for Low Hormones, Amenorrhea, Infertility, PCOS, and Endometriosis DISCLAIMER: The following research should not be considered as medical advice. It is strongly recommended that you consult your trusted physician…
I investigated this trendy GLP-1 supplement so you don't have to... 👀
There are quite a few "GLP-1 supplements" popping up due to the success of weight loss peptides. *Replenza* was recently brought to my attention by a lovely lady inside our channel, so I wanted to dive in and check out the ingredients to see if their (ahem, pricy) blends were worth the hype.
Here are my thoughts:
👀 1) While the "Daily Nutritional Supplement" does have a nice blend of vitamins, I see some ingredients that could be problematic:
a. Ashwaghanda: while this can be beneficial for those struggling with cortisol dysfunction and mood disorders (I take it myself for both) it can be something the body becomes dependent upon (ie, mental wellness withdrawals, adrenal crashes) if it is stopped suddenly.
b. Black pepper extract (aka bioperine): While it can help with absorption with certain vitamins and supplements, it can also be very harsh on the gut. And since digestive function is already being altered a bit with GLP-1 , this might be a bad combination.
c. Probiotics: While beneficial in food form (sauerkraut, kimchi, yogurt), OTC supplemental probiotics can lead to further microbiome imbalance especially when we haven't had out specific bacteria levels and species examined with a comprehensive gut panel. The wrong kind of probiotic for an individual's microbiome might make an existing imbalance worse, leading to gas, gut pain, fibromyalgia, etc.
d. Wheat and Soy: The fact these are in a digestive supplement in the first place is baffling to me, since these are two allergens are extremely common food intolerance ingredients, and can be disruptive to gut and hormones, respectively.
👀 2) I see some good ingredients going on with the "Daily Replenisher", though their benefits might be outweighed by problems triggered by other ingredients:
a. Bovine collagen - awesome! But only 2.5 grams, when most women need around 90 grams per day.
b. Prebiotics: Touted as necessary for probiotic benefits, we tend to get plenty of prebiotic naturally by eating some sweet potato, banana, cucumber, etc. The fiber in supplemental prebiotics can be quite difficult to digest as well, leading to gas, bloating, and GI pain.
c. Electrolyte blend: I'm looking specifically at the Magnesium citrate. This cheap mag is (in my opinion) best saved for colonoscopies, and even then I feel magnesium oxide would be a better, less painful experience! Mag citrate is knows to cause gas, bloating, and GI / colon cramping. Mag oxide, mag malate, and/or mag glycinate are much gentler on and supportive for the GI.
d. Natural flavor: While these are extracted from plants, bugs, or animals, they could be nearly anything literally and the company does not have to legally disclose it to you, for example. For example, a secretion called "castoreum" which is extracted from the castor sacs located near a beaver's anal glands is a natural "raspberry-like flavor" (just one gross example).
⚖️ Verdict: Personally, I would avoid these for the reasons above.
✨ Solution: I used my primal wellness coaching skills to put together a GLP-1 Support Plan for you! The supplements in the plan are a lower cost (when viewed from a per-serving lens), higher quality approach to get nutrients in that are more in alignment with human biology. Most of them can be taken at the same time early in the day, creating a simplified supplemental routine.

Non Big Pharma approaches with peptides that have shown potential in different ways within cancer research:
*Not medical advice. Research, studies, and hypotheses only.*
PNC27 targets and disrupts cancer cell membranes, leading to cell death.
AICAR activates AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), which inhibits the mTOR pathway, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells.
P21 is a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor that can induce cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells.
LL37 has antimicrobial properties and can induce apoptosis in cancer cells, making it a potential therapeutic agent.
Hexarelin Acetate shows promise in modulating immune responses and potentially targeting cancer cells, though research is still ongoing.

📝 Round 2 of HRT, but with a fresh strategy: switching from T cream to injections and adding estrogen tablets this time, and adding back P capsules. Because sometimes we need to pivot until we find what works.
Lab results don't lie... and after 9 years of LOW-LOW hormone levels (despite reducing inflammation and thyroid antibodies), I'm choosing to work smarter, not harder.
👩🔬 Here's the science drop:
✔️ When progesterone shows up at menopausal levels (<20) and this is combined with symptoms of adrenal fatigue, it could mean your adrenals are stealing from your hormone bank to make cortisol.
✔️Think of it like your body taking an emergency loan to handle stress.
✔️This could explain why my adrenals are again overly sensitive and in overdrive despite all the recovery work.
👀 More insight:
Low hormones can lead to low energy, weight gain, and advanced aging.
At 44, with perimenopause knocking, I'm expanding my hormone support toolkit. Some days I struggle with needing more support - shouldn't my body handle this naturally? Other days I'm completely at peace with doing whatever it takes to feel alive again.
🔎 Both lenses come in and out of focus, and that's okay.
Quality of life isn't about doing it alone - it's about doing what works.
Drop a 💊 if you've ever felt conflicted about needing medication/supplements, or share your hormone journey below. Let's normalize this conversation!
