За 10 лет «Примаковские чтения» окрепли и по праву заслужили репутацию одного из самых креативных и открытых форумов, на которых обсуждаются злободневные международные проблемы. Они стали своего рода мемориалом Евгению Примакову, данью уважения и памяти этому общественному деятелю и дипломату.

В этом году академику исполнилось бы 95 лет. В своем выступлении в 2016 году Владимир Путин назвал Евгения Примакова великим гражданином нашей страны. Мне посчастливилось близко знать Примакова — для меня он был настоящим наставником, учителем, символом человеческой порядочности и честности.

Over the 10 years, the "Primakov Readings" have grown stronger and rightfully earned the reputation of one of the most creative and open forums where pressing international issues are discussed. They have become a kind of memorial to Yevgeny Primakov, a tribute of respect and memory to this public figure and diplomat.

This year, the academician would have turned 95. In his speech in 2016, Vladimir Putin called Yevgeny Primakov a great citizen of our country. I was fortunate to know Primakov closely - for me, he was a true mentor, teacher, and symbol of human decency and honesty.

Казалось, что завершилось межблоковое противостояние, но игроки мировой политики вкладывали в него разные смыслы. Мы считали, что исчезают блоки, а другая сторона думала, что уходит противостояние.

Среди возможных принципов будущего мироустройства: отсутствие общих идеологии и ценностей, которые непригодны для стран мирового большинства, а также жесткой дисциплины, свобода для стран-участников высказывать собственную точку зрения, запрет на использование санкций, за исключением принимаемых Совбезом ООН.

Наступает время Евгения Максимовича Примакова, который опередил свою эпоху, застав второй романтический перелом на рубеже 1980-90-х годов.

It seemed that the inter-bloc confrontation had ended, but the players in world politics invested different meanings in it. We believed that the blocs were disappearing, while the other side thought that the confrontation was going away.

Among the possible principles of the future world order are: the absence of common ideologies and values that are unsuitable for the countries of the world majority, as well as strict discipline; freedom for participating countries to express their own point of view; and a ban on the use of sanctions, except for those adopted by the UN Security Council.

The time of Yevgeny Maksimovich Primakov is coming, as he was ahead of his era, having experienced the second romantic turning point at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s.

Сегодня Россия — четвертая экономика мира по паритету покупательной способности, а в топ-5 мировых экономических держав входят три страны БРИКС и ни одной страны из цветущего сада г-на Борреля.

Главным сюрпризом стала фантастическая устойчивость экономики России. Я возьму на себя смелость утверждать, что сегодня ни одна экономика мира, даже китайская, не выдержала бы такого агрессивного давления. Высокая сопротивляемость экономики России внешним шокам объясняется тремя фундаментальными причинами: во-первых, это результат тяжелых институциональных и структурных реформ. Сегодня мы имеем самодостаточную, адаптивную и высоко диверсифицированную рыночную экономику. Во-вторых, кризис 2022 года был уже пятым в истории новой России. Наконец, третье: Запад просчитался в способности изолировать нашу экономику. Двойное сдерживание России и Китая укрепляют связи между странами, укрепляют БРИКС.

Today, Russia is the fourth largest economy in the world in terms of purchasing power parity, and among the top 5 global economic powers are three BRICS countries and not a single country from Mr. Borrell's blooming garden.

The main surprise was the fantastic resilience of the Russian economy. I will take the liberty of asserting that today no economy in the world, not even the Chinese one, would withstand such aggressive pressure. The high resistance of the Russian economy to external shocks can be explained by three fundamental reasons: firstly, it is the result of difficult institutional and structural reforms. Today we have a self-sufficient, adaptive and highly diversified market economy. Secondly, the crisis of 2022 was already the fifth in the history of new Russia. Finally, thirdly: the West miscalculated in its ability to isolate our economy. The dual containment of Russia and China strengthens ties between countries and strengthens BRICS.

Помимо того, что Евгений Максимович был известным государственным деятелем, руководителем правительства, академиком, крупнейшим исследователем, он был еще очень интересным деятелем образования.

В отличие от многих людей образования и науки Евгений Максимович всегда сохранял полифоничность, многовекторность интересов карьерных треков.

Огромную роль в становлении Евгения Максимовича играло самообразование. Так, профессоры-арабисты вспоминали, что Примаков гораздо сильнее выступал на экзаменах, чем на текущих занятиях. Умение сконцентрироваться и быть во всеоружии к важному сроку — это талант Примакова.

Первый важный образовательный опыт был реализован Примаковым в МГИМО в 1993 году. В том году появился очень специфический, но устойчивый образовательный проект — курс «Разведка в современном мире». Он пользовался огромной популярностью.

In addition to being a well-known statesman, head of government, academician, and a major researcher, Yevgeny Maksimovich was also a very interesting and distinctive figure in education.

Unlike many people in education and science, Yevgeny Maksimovich always maintained a polyphony, a multi-vector nature of career track interests.

Self-education played a huge role in the development of Yevgeny Maksimovich. For instance, professors of Arabic studies recalled that Primakov performed much better in exams than in ongoing classes. The ability to concentrate and be fully prepared for an important deadline was indeed Primakov's skill. Obviously, this is due to his talent - the talent to master and manage the word.

The first important educational experience was implemented by Primakov at MGIMO in 1993. A very specific but stable educational project appeared: the course 'Intelligence in the Modern World.' The course was immensely popular.
