Bold, Bright, and Iconic!
In our Arts & Crafts classes the pupils of Grade 3 are exploring the world of pop-art style.
Students learned about the colorful and inspiring paintings of the Pop artist Andy Warhol, and then created their very own Pop Art Pizza out of felt!
The art and science of sewing is a valuable skill that allows kids to enjoy the creative process, develop fine motor skills, improve their concentration, and learn how to work with their hands. Sewing can not be done before threading the needle, fabric can’t be cut before marking it. And with this moral, they’ll slowly but surely start learning how to be more patient.
Moreover, sewing encourages mindfullness and reduces stress and anxiety.The children enjoyed designing their Pop art pizzas and had a great time to experiment with colour combinations! 🍕
