Ребята узнали, что в основу кириллицы был положен греческий алфавит, что в древней азбуке было 43 буквы и до XVIII века наши предки писали без пробелов, а буквы кириллицы обозначали не только звуки, но и числа.
В завершении занятия ребята сделали плакаты с обложками своих любимых книг, которые они советуют почитать сверстникам.

Recognising their limited attention spans, repetition plays a pivotal role, with engaging drills and catchy mnemonics, making learning enjoyable. This approach establishes a robust foundation for future academic success in a dynamic, interactive environment.
Recognising the importance of multisensory engagement, research shows that we retain 10% of what we read, 20% of what we hear, 30% of what we see, 50% of what we see and hear, 70% of what we discuss, and 80% of what we experience. Thus, we integrate repeated rhymes, sounds, and tactile interaction with flashcards, complemented by weekly crafts. Phonics games, such as adaptations of classics like "Duck, Duck Goose," add a playful dimension, engagingly reinforcing letter sound recognition.

Papercraft and origami inform visual literacy, the ability to observe visual instructions and to apply this information, turning flat paper into three-dimensional forms. The students learn not just how to make a form but how geometry is both functional and beautiful.

They learn precise measurements and how units make a whole. The projects we teach are often seen as toys by the children because they are moveable in a surprising and fun ways.
