📜 In today's immersive 4th-grade lesson, we explored the fascinating aspects of Ancient Rome, focusing specifically on the captivating world of Roman Numerals. The students eagerly investigated the fundamental rules governing these symbolic representations. The lesson fostered an engaging atmosphere, where students actively participated in discussions and hands-on activities, cultivating a deeper appreciation for the historical role of Roman Numerals within the context of Ancient Rome.

We concluded the lesson with a lively game of Roman Numerals Bingo to bring our newfound knowledge to life. This interactive and competitive activity was a fun and engaging way to reinforce the concepts learned and allowed students to showcase their proficiency in decoding Roman Numerals.

🗺 Completing our final practicum in Mapping, Geographical Coordinate systems, and Orienteering. Students of grade 5 apply their skills to locate Geographic feature such as mountains and lakes using the Coordinate system. Orienting their maps to north, students can now use the compass to determine a navigational course to 7 different locations through the wilderness. “Education and life are a journey, it’s a good idea to bring a map”.
