📚 Happy New Year to all of our Primakov School community. We hope you had a wonderful time over the holidays and are ready to get back into our daily school life. Getting children to adjust back to their school routine can be difficult at times, especially after almost 3 weeks away.
Teachers can find it difficult to get their children to listen as all the children want to do is talk to their friends and tell them what they have been doing over the break. A great way to get the children back into their school routine is to discuss what they did over the holidays. This allows them to tell their friends what they did and where they went, and it gives them some independence to speak more freely compared to the regular structure of their lessons.
Today, our children discussed with their friends about what they did during the holidays. Then they wrote about what they did, where they went, who they were with, and how they felt. Following this, they were able to draw a picture of their holidays. Children then came up the front of the class and read their work to their classmates.
